Benson & Schoen Oil Co, Inc. is a bonded operator currently responsible for 70 wells in the West Central Texas area. Tom Benson and Wayne Schoen founded the company in 1992. We are proud of our exemplary record with the Railroad Commission and all local environmental agencies. Our company has over 80 years combined industry experience.Benson & Schoen provides the expertise necessary to handle all facets of the independent oil and gas business. From leasing acreage, through drilling and completion, to daily operations of the producing oil and gas property, Benson & Schoen has an experienced staff dedicated to managing the entire project.Our company utilizes the local accounting firm of Wolfe and Company for our Joint Interest Billings and Revenue Disbursements and can offer a full range of Oil & Gas Accounting Services.We are fully insured with a $5, 000, 000 Umbrella Policy through Bituminous Insurance Company and provide Workers Compensation on all employees. We require Certificates of Insurance or Waiver of Liability on all contract personnel. Operations are subject to the AAPL Form 610-1989 Model Form Operating Agreement with attached Copas Accounting Procedure.Benson & Schoen fulfills the needs of companies and individuals that can benefit from local experience with a "hands-on" philosophy and specialized skills to complete each task in a professional, efficient and economic manner.Many of our clients are successful independent geologists in need of an operator to drill and complete their prospect. Consequently, we usually have several excellent drill prospects available to offer qualified investors.Similarly, we are often presented with sale packages of oil and gas properties.
