Great InventoryI was looking for a special vehicle in the L.A. area, and didn't find what I was looking for, they were over priced and in bad conditions. So decided to venture to San Diego, This X name Dealer had a huge selection, but all the cars were in poor conditions. Decided to do one more search in the area before leaving and found on CarGurus, K&S Auto Sales. Upon arrival we were greeted by Eric Morales, He was very polite and professional and helped us find what we were looking for. The vehicle was in great condition and the prices was unbelievable for the year and mileage. We just couldn't walk away, and took the car home. Very happy and satisfied with the purchase, definitely will recommend and visit again, K & S Auto Sales. GREAT SERVICEI have been referred to talk to Kareem by many people, attesting to his good character and I had ran into him many times at the gym. When I knew that it was time to buy a truck, naturally, I reached out to a familiar contact. Kareem responded very quickly and was very helpful regarding information about the truck I was looking at. We set up an appointment and I rode my motorcycle up there with the intentions of just test driving. I was greeted by Eric M., who was tasked with providing a test drive and answering any further questions that I had, which he did very well. I never once felt rushed or anything other than family. The atmosphere was relaxed and "non-sales", yet you get the feeling that business will be done, which I like. Eric even provided me his desk and chair and made me feel at home. I seriously wish I could give K & S over 100 stars!!! Today was my BEST car buying experience ever!! (& I have purchased several cars!) I came into this low profile lot very skeptical from North County- I had already found a vehicle at another Miramar area car lot that I was about to purchase from & I doubted they could be competitive & help me out of a very high mileage - upside down financed vehicle that I was trading in. I can't stress enough how patient & caring Auturo was with my used car buying anxiety! truly the most patient sales man to deal with! I was EXTREMELY nervous about my purchase of a 2013 Range Rover Evoque - after shopping several lots in search of the best condition vehicle with the best finance terms! Considering I traded in a car with over 200k miles & I was upside down on a high interest loan! I refused to sign the dotted line without demanding a third party inspection. Auturo then brought in his boss & owner - Kareem who seriously wanted to kick me off his lot for being so demanding. He also took the time to get to know me & listened to my fears. I am also in sales & I know when someone is not being genuine - thru body language, honesty & eye contact. Amazingly, He convinced me instantly that he is a man of his word! He is allowing me to take the vehicle to a 3rd party for inspection & vowed to buy the car back if it does not pass - & even pay to repair anything that could be wrong on it...How rare to meet someone so honest & passionate about standing behind his business! I was instantly in tears! I am so impressed! He treated me like I was family to him & extended trust in me to overwhelming me assure me that my purchase was riskfree! I have never posted a review of anything before. My experience with autos South Bay (and their related companies) has compelled me to write my first review.I found a vehicle Online i was interested in. I live far away, so I set up an appointment for my sister to view the vehicle with a man named Gerry (Geraldo) sepulveda. He confirmed with me the time the day before. On the day of, he didn't show, didn't call, didn't answer my text. Not a great first impression.In the end, i decided to pursue the vehicle. I sent a photo of the check my credit union had approved. Gerry said it would work no problem. It did not.After purchasing the vehicle, I couldn't get registration because Gerry had not smogged the vehicle, so there was no record of it in he system. I had to smog it myself after purchase, which was a massive headache and required several different locations because everyone thought I was doing something shady. "Why isn't your new vehicle smogged already? Your dealer should've done that. I have to make a few calls to see if I am even allowed to do this." Shady indeed.My car also didn't have any floor mats, so Gerry promised to send them with my delayed registration. I ended up with tan floor mats for my grey car. They do not match at all.I've been trying to remedy this, but now Gerry has stopped responding to my calls and texts. Floor mats cost 150 bucks, which is practically nothing when purchasing a vehicle. In this day and age, customer feedback can make or break a company, so I'm not sure why someone wouldn't want to do everything they can to get a positive review.The only power I have as a consumer is to warn people not to buy cars from this company. They are unprofessional, they have no attention to detail, they refuse to correct their mistakes.Do not buy anything from Gerry sepulveda. South Bay Autos. Or their dealership in Chula Vista. These are not people you want on your team when buyin something as important as a car.
This place is a RIP OFF!! Ken forged the owner Richards name on all my paperwork. Ken called me a week after I purchased the vehicle to say he found a few banks with better deals and that he just needed me to go in a resign some papers. So I go last night at 815pm and Richard tells me he needs 6000 more (on top of the 3000 I already gave them) or I have to give him the keys RIGHT NOW. I made him wait until my husband got there to pick me up. Richard tried to force me to leave all MY copies of the paperwork with him and I refused. RICHARD AND KEN ARE LIARS AND A SCUMBALLS! I DO BELIEVE IN KARMA! Everything happens for a reason..I was approved today for a 2017 Nissan Altima..so they can keep their piece of junk Dodge Durango that had been in a car accident prior to them trying to sell it to me. Please believe all these reviews!! DONT BUY FROM US MOTORS!!
Horrible. Sold me a car with bad transmission. I tried to contact them, won't respond. Also wouldn't respond to calls from the Better Business Bureau. Found out there was a lawsuit about that car having a bad transmission filed in CA when I bought it from them, so they had to know. Repairs cost almost as much as the car. They must scrub bad reviews. Most sites have positive reviews on them but if look enough, you'll find the bad ones. Just like mine.

I had a terrible experience dealing with US motors. I purchased a 2012 Honda Accord from them on 9/30/16. I had my car inspected by my mechanic and they found there was a leaky gasket which didnt seem like it was too big a deal. However, the very next day the engine light turned on so I immediately brought it back to my mechanic. My mechanic told me that the engine error light that turned on is likely caused by a malfunctioning catalytic converter which would still be covered by the dealer under warranty. So I took it to Pacific Honda and they told me that they would replace it for free which was nice. Pacific Honda also told me that US motors had brought the car into them in May of this year for faulty piston rings(which is a massive problem and very labor intensive) and elected not to have the work done. So US motors knew about the bad piston rings and did not disclose this information to me. When I told them about it they blamed it on a bad mechanic that they had been using which felt like total deflection and ultimately doesn't mean anything because they are responsible for anything they are putting on their showroom floor. Also, when I checked the vehicle history report that wasn't carfax it came up as being sold at auction with structural/frame damage. Apparently carfax does not list the completely vehicle history and it is good to check other reports. Aziz(the owner) did end up letting me return the car to them, of course this was after I spent over 500.00 in repairs and 200.00 in uber rides. Overall this has probably been one of the most stressful, deceitful, terrible experiences of my life and I hope that nobody else has to go through it.
