Eighteen Eight Fine Men's Salons, Los Angeles, CaliforniaI met Rob Burns through a Social Media website and he invited ME to come to his hair salon that he works at to do a review on him and his Excellent Hair Craftsmanship!During my experience, I received excellent attention and work on ME and my hair and Rob Burns who has been cutting hair since 2014 really took the necessary time in Treating ME and My Hair Very Well!I was very much pleased with his work, techniques, styles, attitude, education and information that he gave ME about my hair, hair cut, hair style, etc.The ONLY thing that I did Not like about him was the Fact that later on this evening for whatever reason, he Blocked and Removed ME from his Facebook with No Reason Given! Not Only That, but Rob Burns also Disconnected His Phone Number for whatever reason and I even had my friend call him from a Totally Different Phone Number and it was Definitely Disconnected/Changed/etc.I have No Idea of Why Rob Burns did what he did with regards to his phone number and removing ME on Facebook, but I found that to be Quite Rude; especially without a Reason Being Given since he knows ME for Less Than One (1) Week and WE had No Problems At All, Whatsoever! Strange! Welcome To Los Angeles! Lol.Other than that, I had an Excellent Hair Cutting Experience at Eighteen Eight Fine Men's Salons and Definitely Recommend Rob Burns to anybody seeking out a Fantastic Hair Cut, Style and Wash.I want to personally Thank Rob Burns for providing ME with Number One, Excellent Hair Cutting Customer Service back on Saturday, October 21, 2017.Sincerely yours,Howard Paul ShoreVisitorExecutive, Volunteer Writer For Google And Tripadvisor Websites/HPS
As I walked into the establishment, I was greeted by a very bleached blond korean woman who barely spoke English. I told her I needed a tream because I know that is all the can handle, but she directed me to another butcher since tob spoke persian (her words) I not wanting to be rude told her she could do it korean blond. She washed my hair very badly, she left me sitting there while she talked on the phone in korean .when I went back to the cutting area she pulled a very filthy comb and made very rude comments about my hair. She indicated without any provocation that fantastic sams was where you get a 20 minute cut at best. If I want something well done, I have to go to a different place. I very politely got up and left. THIS PLACE is not FANTASTiC AT ALL
I have been a faithful customer of this shop for seven years. I have always tipped well, I've never been late or missed an appointment. I called today and the barber told me that she would not be taking appointments this week but I was free to walk-in. I showed up and the barber was cutting someones hair. I said "are you sure I cannot make an appointment?" She said, "no." I asked, "okay, when will you be done with this gentleman's hair?" She said, "about ten minutes." I said, "that's fine, I will be right back." I went to the mail store and came back in ten minutes later. Rather than me being next, she took someone else who had not been waiting as long as me. Terribly rude. I asked once again if I could make an appointment. She said no. No respect for other peoples time. This was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. I will never ever return.
What A Very Nice Art Show!Back on Saturday, November 5, 2016, I was on my way to Starbucks down on Wilshire Boulevard when all of a sudden I noticed something going on inside of the stores.I was very curious and so I peeked inside and noticed that there was an art show going on which was surrounded by very beautiful models.I honestly thought I was at the Americas Top Model Show, but No, it was an Art Exhibit put on by Donna Dyson who has had her art studio for the past five years, but has been in the business for the past 20 years.Furthermore, Donna Dyson is an impressionist, fine artist as well as a hairdresser and has such a Great Background with plenty of experience to show for.Enclosed, please find some pictures that I took of the event for your enjoyment.Thank you.Sincerely yours,Howard Paul ShoreParticipant And Promoter And Reviewer/HPS
I take my son here for his haircuts. He has a few cowlicks that make cutting his hair tricky, but they are pretty good at dealing with it. They are quick and reasonably priced. Now if they could just improve the parking situation...
Price for hair cut was only $20 ($5 to wash) but it looked awful. I asked for a LOB and got a short blunt bob with no layers. I was pretty clear on how long to keep it but she apparently had a different plan. I'll spend more $$ next time.
Greta has been straightening, cutting, and coloring my hair for over 20 yrs. She is the best. And her new location is great.
Greta has been doing my hair for 8 plus years! I don't let any one else touch my hair. She grows your hair, does a great press and keeps it looking shiny and healthy! She uses the best products for her clients, I recommend her to every one.
"GRETA" Is in a class by herself. I have entrusted her gifted hands to service my hair over 15 years. I've Never seen anyone that can press hair like she does. Silky, flowing, bone straight and healthy hair is the outcome of each visit. Cuts, color, weaves, condition, consultations etc. Professionalism all in one person. I recommended a couple of my celebrity friends to her as well. SATISFIED IS MY TESTAMONY!!! Amen? AMEN!
Greta has been doing my hair for 26+ years and I have never been unsatisfied! I always get a sew in weave, but I have seen her do everything. She always does great work and I recommend her to any & everyone
