The food was outstanding. There is no doubt a four star award winning chef is behind the menu. Our party tried every protein on the menu but the octopus. The duck was perfectly done; the Chicken was great; the pork excellent; the fish awesome, but the lamb was magnificent! Primo’s Sicilian style Italian menu is matched by their wine list. The desserts are good, but the highlight of the selection is the Vanilla Panna Cotta with seasonal berries. The resort was experiencing power issues during our dinner, so our service was slightly delayed. During our wait, they served use outstanding assortment of bruschetta and antipasto. What a great twist of fate! The Hummus was heavenly; olive tapenade impressive, the eggplant was a surprise, but the mushrooms were so amazing. And I normally do not like mushrooms. The only thing that did not please my palate was the Fava Bean spread, but that was just my palate. I still dream of the mushroom and hummus. And the selection of cheeses and veggies on the antipasto were so fresh and exceptional. While the prices are on par with any quality restaurant, they are more reasonable than other establishments of this caliber in the east or west coast retreat towns. I highly recommend planning a table on the patio to enjoy the view as the sun sets over the national park it borders. Plan time to really enjoy the meal – 2.5 hours or so.
If you are on a tight budget and find yourself looking for the most for your money, the Hyatt Place is the place! You will be extremely happy - this chain offers a modern sophisticated feel for a fraction of the price of their competitors. My wife and I fell in love with this place, every time and everywhere we travel we select the Hyatt Place. The amenities are great; each room has a large plasma TV to make matter better they also offer movies that are currently in theatres so you can actually relax and enjoy yourselves without the nagging babies or unruly patrons constantly engaging on their cell phones. This chain of hotels also has a kitchen where each morning breakfast is served, made to order if desired. For the price you can't beat it. I highly recommend that you stay a night and see how your experience compares.
I decided to stay at the Hotel based on the fact that the price for a room was only $69 per night, and the p[pictures on the website looked pretty good. I have to say that our whole experience was really quite good. The breakfast is one of the best breakfasts I have ever had regarding continental breakfasts. The rooms were a good size, and always clean, The staff was very helpful and attentive, and I even spoke to the owner who seemed to always be running around making sure everything was OK. He is young, but very service oriented, and tried very hard to accommodate our needs. Overall our stay was very good, and I would have to recommend this hotel as a diamond in the rough, based on price vs. experience.
This is the classiest hotel in Tuscon. The staff is the best and the hotel rooms are very spacious and first class. Nothing is overlooked. The ambiance is very well laid out. They have a live piano player in which you can listen to the smooth sounds throughout the lobby. The swimming pool is spacious and well laid out. Pricing for advanced booking and upgraded rooms is not bad at all for a hotel of this caliber. We spent a little more than $200 a night.
We stayed the whole month of June at the Residence Inn. The kitchen staff was polite, courteous and went above and beyond with their service. The night manager was fabulous and always greeted us with a smile and kind words. If you are looking for a relaxing environment with no worries and you have to be stuck in the desert for any amount of time....this is the place to be. Keep up the great work guys!
This Motel is good they will help you if you are low on your rent or late all you have to do is stay honest they are clean they have a laundry room. I didn't even want to leave the property after checking in at this amazing and historic hotel in Tucson. Their rooms are all situated very privately, with individual patios and fireplaces in the room. Loved the pool area, and the restaurants on site were terrific. Can't wait to come back!
the pool and hot tub could have been cleaner. rooms were clean and super comfy beds. awesome brkfst...they had it all:eggs, saus, waffle, bisc&gravy, cereal, ect...was nice
The accommodations given to their guests are far and away better than anything else that could be imagined! They really know how to host the public at a great price!!
It was so peaceful and spacious in my room. The housekeeping was polite, as well as the girl at the front desk. I really enjoyed my stay here. Thanks for everything!
