I purchased a Groupon to visit this property. The first problem was I could not confirm my reservation until 24 hours before my visit. Since I was traveling with small children, this was very stressful. Groupon blamed it on Sheraton, and Sheraton blamed it on Groupon. The room was nice. The feature that made me want to take the children there was a water slide. It was fine, but the pool area you land in is too small to accommodate the number of guests using the slide. It was fairly dangerous for the smaller children. The larger pool was adequate but the stairs were so rough it scraped the skin off my feet. The lounge chairs were worn and many had bird droppings on them, with no evidence of being cleaned off overnight. Broken chairs were just cast aside in an area in full view of the pool area. There was a mix up about breakfast charges, and again, we were made to feel we were at fault for asking questions. At no time did I get argumentative or complain. We will not return.

I was in town for business and had a great stay here. It's a comfortable and relaxing environment, and next door to lots of shops and restaurants at Happy Valley Towne Center. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was not bad. We were inconvenienced by a technology issue with our room, which was not the fault of anyone there, but they did everything they could to fix the problem, and then compensated us for the inconvenience.
similar experience to virgils! I think its a rip off scam. Gave a friend a ride to this place, at like 1am He paid, no one informed him off the no guest rule. Nor was it listed on the paperwork he signed. I helped him up to his room, stepped one toe in doorway to hand him his bag, left, all the while the security guard watched, he didn't mention the no guest rule. While my friend is in the the bathroom, the security beats on his door, and tell him he has to leave now, with no refund!!! He had the room all but 5 mins. Stay clear this place is a big RIP OFF! If these room are so important to the tune that it forfeits the money paid, then they should have to be made aware of this restriction and sign acknowledging they are aware of it! Save your money and go to motel 6 on bell rd. super nice desk people and way better rooms for the SAME price as the rip off Premier Inns!!!
STAY AWAY! THIS IS THE MOST FILTHIEST PLACE I'VE EVER LIVED AT! THE CARPET IS SO NASTY AND SMELLS LIKE POOP AND URINE! THE FILTHY ROOMS AND THE LOUD NOISY CHILDREN ARE NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY! A DIRTY WOMAN NAMED DEBBIE WORKS THE DESK, SHE HAVE A NASTY ATTITUDE, AND SHE ACTS LIKE SHE OWNS BUDGET SUITES OF AMERICA! BOTH BUDGET SUITES IN PHOENIX ARE NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY! THEY ARE WRONG FOR ALLOWING PETS TO LIVE IN ROOMS. AND CUSTOMERS HAVE TO PICK UP NASTY SMELLY GERMS FROM CARPET!
Breakfast included, but pretty much the same every day (and often less than warm). Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Biggest complaint is that the small pool is located between the 2 buildings and gets absolutely no sun. If you sit in the pool area the view is a slice of sky and walls of rooms on either side. Would not return here for vacation.
Maryann on Sunday was very helpful.
This hotel was very convenient near the freeway, the breakfast in the morning was good as well.
Even with a full occupied weekend, the hotel staff stayed so friendly, nice and helpful and the breakfast crew kept the breakfast full of hot food, coffee and plenty of supplies for everyone to enjoy breakfast each morning. The pool is pretty and the out door patio had lots of chairs to enjoy. Rooms are clean and simple with a full kitchen. Part of the Marriott family, the Residence Inn is a great place to stay at a reasonable price!
In the Phoenix area, right off the 17N freeway, Residence Inn was a great and convenient place to stay for a weekend. We were glad to be close to GCU for a family weekend event. The hotel was all decked out in purple. The staff wore GCU shirts, purple and white balloons decorated the lobby where we had breakfast were very cute touches the hotel added for the many family members at their hotel for the weekend.
Clean and friendly place close to GCU
