The customer service experience from the head manager of banquet Itella, front desk person Helen Martz were terrible. Helen Marta called my mother a bitch as she turned her back and she thought no one was looking and Itella treated us like not good enough customers!! Customer service is the downfall of this location go to surrounding hotels before checking in here or doing business with them, if your about fun and family not the place to be with this location.

Nice resting place for trip back from the Royal Gorge. Has a fridge. and microwave. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Gave me directions to popular fishing spots.
The room was clean. Staff was friendly. Internet connection was not reliable. Everything else was good.
We enjoyed getting to know the owners. I was impressed by the hard work they are doing to renovate, and create a safe environment.
This hotel was so much more than what I was expecting. I got a comfortable king size bed which I picked. The room had a kitchen sink, in-counter hotplate. It had a microwave and minifridge. I even stayed another night. The room had an amazing view of the mountains. I would probably stay here again if I ever do go back.

The room was smelling of really bad cigarette smoke and there was a really see through curtain. Once the reception was told, the room was cleaned once again, changed sheets, moisturized the air in the room so the smell would go away and added a second layer of curtain. That is why I enjoyed staying in the hotel.
