We have been so happy with Primrose! It is such a great feeling to know when we drop off our son that he is in such great hands! Our boy absolutely loves his teachers and enjoys interacting with his classmates. As an educator myself, I love seeing how even the infant classrooms have curriculum. I know my son has had a great start to his education!

Our Son has greatly improved since joining Primrose School at Bulverde Road. The Staff and Teachers always greet us with a smile and are very attentive to any issues involving our son! We highly recommend Primrose!
Altamente recomendable.
They don't care about the children, they only care about the money. Teachers there complain everyday about needing help in their classrooms and they directors shrug it off. They hire anyone off the street and expect them to know how to take care of the children. Kids with special needs don't get the attention they need because the teachers are not educated in how to take care of them. Your basically overpaying for bad babysitters.
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! My daughter was here for six months before we forcefully removed her same day!! She was BIT FOUR TIME BY THE SAME CHILD! TWO OF THE BITES KEFT RED MARKS FOR DAY AND ONE EVEN BROKE THE SKIN! The staff refused to do anything to assure our child will be safe! ALL WE GOT FROMTHE STAFF WAS SMOKE AND MIRRORS AND KAME EXCUSES LIKE "well, toddlers will bite!" Gotta be kidding me!
DisappointedMy husband and I have been displeased with the quality of our son's care at this school. Once we found another child wearing his clothes, another time his sippy cup went untouched all day. Regularly we found him with food all over his face and clothes, and his diaper full. In the 4 months attended, there was a lot of turnover with both teachers and teaching assistants (2 teachers and 3 assistants), and no communication about the changes from the school. In fact, it was 2 weeks before we knew our son's teacher no longer worked there (there is an aide present when we drop him off and pick him up). We ended up having to call the school to ask about his teacher because when we went to pick him up, the aide was also new. The school did a poor job of communicating with us regarding what our son did during the day (ie how he slept, what he worked on, how he ate). The information we were able to get separately from his teacher and teacher's aide were rarely consistent. When asked if we could get occasional reports on our son's activities during the week, we were told that wasn't "Montessori". When my son stopped attending, we were informed by the head of the school that his teacher was unable to work with him because he only attended 2 full days a week (he is 2 years old and my husband stays at home with him). I wish we had known that from the beginning; we would have chosen a school that was willing to teach our child on a 2 days/week schedule. We are seeking educational enrichment for our son to break up the time he stays at home, not a drop-off daycare. All in all, disappointed with our experience; it was not at all what was presented to us when we met the teachers and toured the school.
We LOVE Montessori SchoolhouseWe have 2 children at the school and have nothing but positive things to say. Our daughter started at the school at 18 months and is excelling academically. She is 4 now and working on math skills taught in 2nd grade in public schools! This is our sons first year. He started out in the Nido class at 13 months. A new classroom, opened just this year, for 12 months-2 year olds. He loves school and loves exploring his environment. They only cry when its time to go home!!!
My daughter is 2 1/2 and loves everything about school. It took a couple of weeks to adjust but her teachers are so patient, kind, and nurturing that it did not take long for her to become acclimated to the daily routine. She comes home talking about her activities for the day with such excitement. We are very pleased with the structure and level of academics the school provides. It has far exceeded our expectations!
i must say about the other reviews is i think yall must have had a bad teacher, because i love this daycare, out of any daycare i have ever been in to country home was the best i have ever been into.they do alot of things with the kiddos all day,art everyday, and almost all the teachers i have met are really nice, they also have a video camera in the room and run a full background check on all there employs,i felt very safe leaving my child there and would recommend country home to all of my friends.
Our son attended Country Home on Military Highway. We were unhappy from the very first day. Like any parent or child will see, their facility is full of amenities. It stops there. There is absolutely no educational value at this daycare. The staff was cold and inattentive to my child. We rarely received feedback from the teachers, even when we asked. The teachers often had their backs to the wild classroom when we arrived to pick him up. The Director was not concerned about the well-being of the children, not to mention the absentee owner (she’s has a legal background, not child care). We moved both of our children to a new Private Preschool almost 2 years ago and couldn’t be happier. When looking for a child care provider, be sure to consider an on-site owner, an accredited curriculum that is actually followed and a caring staff. Don’t be fooled by the curb appeal alone.
