Movie with dinner. Love this place. Comfortable chairs & good food. Can be a little pricey but sure is worth it.

I go to the movies about 5-6 times a month. I'm addicted. I actually love this movie theater. Yes there's talking because unless they pay 30 people to sit in every single one of their showings for the entire film they can't catch everyone. I've seen groups of kids thrown out who we're trying to…

I loved this theater! I have been to the one at the one in San Antonio many times and it is impressive. But this one is the mother of them all! Absolutely the way movies should be! You have to experience this theater!!! Try the D-box seats.
Even though the tickets are cheaper here they still managed to maintain a nice theater. I've never going in and the place is dirty as someone else suggested. And I love their new kettle corn. It's the best I've had so far. Keep up the good work Cinemark.
Fast friendly service, great seats, and quality shows... it's very convenient for me as a truck driver to get to..
The fish and chips were good, french fries could have been better. The overall experience was ok, theater smelled a little bit, but what do you expect for how old the place is. Maybe a good floor cleaning could help that. Seats don't recline, but nice date night. Next time I'll choose seats in the middle instead of back row.
Moviegoers with savoir-faire can catch an independent or foreign flick at this theater, built in 1939.The downstairs theater is grandiose and baroque, all heavy red-velvet curtains, patterned carpet and ornate carvings, with moderately comfortable seats. The two upstairs screening rooms are tiny and cramped; even the most diminutive person will want for more space. Two concession stands carry standard fare, as well as herbal teas, gourmet coffee, Ben & Jerry's ice cream, high-end candies and vegan cookies. A funky cafe-like hangout next to the upstairs concession is painted in folk-art style and includes all sorts of alternative reading material.Tip: Catch special midnight movies on Friday and Saturday nights.
This place is basically a movie mall. There are way too many teenagers hanging around outside and interrupting the movie inside.
Unless you get the premium plus seats, don't waste your time here, go to Studio Movie Grill. Better viewing, sound and service.
I love this theatre. Cheap, clean and friendly staff. Concession stand is high, of course, but it is great for the family.
Since last year I have been surprisingly disappointed in the lack of customer service. As one of only 4 Platinum members in Houston who has purchased 130 tickets in 11 months and spent hundreds of dollars on food and beverages. I have never been thanked for my loyalty and have been ignored by the GM who refers to my partner and I as whinny cry babies. The GM has instructed her staff, who she treats horribly and are so afraid of her that they will not report her to their own employee hotline, to never give us anything free as Platinum members. We escalated our poor treatment to the Regional Director and were given nothing but lip service. He never apologized or took ownership of the valid customer service issues that we and other members have been having since they opened. I am never going back to iPics Houston and will never recommend them to anyone. Do not waste your money! I have attached a picture of the broken urinals in the men's room, that have been that way for a week with trash bags covering them up to give you a visual of the piss poor service you can expect.
I will never be back to this movie theater again. I have been three times. The first time, we were overcharged for food and the sweet Potatoe fries were very cold. The second time, our theater was moved due to a movie screen out. They put my husband and I in office chairs to watch the movie. We did not complain because we got free movie passes. On our third visit, we used our passes. The waiter explained that we could not order child sized drinks for an adult. I thought WTF, I don't go to McDonalds and anyone questions my order of a happy meal. I tried to support this theater because it is in Brazoria, but this place needs major revision of attitudes/equipment or it needs to be shut down. Also, be certain to lock up your vehicles as I have heard of incidents of car break ins on the other side that sits away from the freeway.
