It was very easy to get an appointment. I walked in they greeted me and stated they would be right with me in a moment and they were. At first they made me feel comfortable, he came and sat down beside me asked me how I wanted my hair cut, over and over I explained I want to keep the length, I want to add a few layers, long layers, but I am trying to grow my hair out and I want to keep the length, he showed me a picture of a dark haired brunette with long whispy bangs and long layers, her hair was beautiful, I said yes like that. I will NEVER visit them again!!!! What I walked out with was nothing like the picture. I now have a MULLET, and I kid you not. I am a 24 year old girl with a MULLET and I am very disappointed. Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done to fix this, I just have to wait until it grows out. Usually when you walk out of a salon your hair is healthier, does it make sense that my hair is more damaged than when I walked in. He cut my hair with sheering scissors. My hair feels like straw and is super dry, I got the hair cut only two days ago. On top of that, HE ASKED ME FOR A RIDE HOME!!! and I was ONLY a first time customer!! I would never want another young lady to experience the trauma of walking into a salon and getting your hair butchered into a MULLET. So please take my word for what it is worth, I usually don't write these things, but due to the circumstances I feel it is necessary. Oh, and one more note, the hair cut cost eighteen dollars, no wash, no style, unless you consider what I say next a styling technique.... So after he was finished "cutting" my hair, he sprayed water and then put hair gel and he rubbed it over the top portion of my head in circles and blow dried for a few minutes, I have never once in my life used this technique, nor have I seen it done. When he was finished doing that, I looked like a grungy rock star, and not even a cool one, more like a one hit wonder type. It is easier to make fun of myself to ease the pain of the fact that I now sport a mullet at no request of my own. PLEASE PLEASE WARN YOUR FRIENDS AND PLEASE PLEASE TAKE PRECAUTION! Thank you! PS. I give them two stars because they were nice. This is not an attack on them, but it is a statement on what occurred during my visit.

I have been to the shop around 4times, and I have left with astounding hair styles everything (except once). The first time I went, I had recently did the big chop and left myself with about 1/2 an inch to deal with. Then I just got tired of the same look and seemed a shop that had reasonable prices and good quality, without leaving me with patches. That day I left the shop with freestyle braids, multicolored, only spending $150, and about 4hours (due to gripping issues). The second time I went to the shop, I decided to get a see in for prom (you know, to spice it up). My hair came out weird, spending about $275 buying hair there (this price includes $85 for the actual sew in job, roughly $190 on wet and wavy 18"-22"). The problem was you could see my braids in the front of my head, and it looked like I was wearing two wigs. So the next day I came back (you have 3days to get it fixed) and my hair was fixed on the spot, and I walked out looking magnificent. The third time, I went I received another sew in and only spent $95 since I had the hair already, and it came out great. The fourth and most recent occasion, I received boxbraids freestyle for the price of $175, and I love it!!!!! The original price for the style I wanted was $150, but since I'm natural the better style (which they explained to me) would be the boxbraids. Each time I go to the shop, you can see the professionalism (excuse my poor grammar) growing and the atmosphere becoming more costumer friendly, I love this shop and would strongly recommend to you. P.S. they know their stuff, so if your like me and don't really know the ins-and-outs of weaves/braids then they'll explain it to you

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! I LOVE THIS SALON!!! From the moment you walk in, from the time you walk out, everything is absolutely perfect! Setting an appointment online, was a piece of cake! Even booked after hours! I have been to several salons trying to dye my hair red, unfortunately I haven't been able to achieve that UNTIL I came to J. Dall Salon! My stylist, Norman, who is just amazing at everything he does, consulted with another stylist and the owner Justin on making sure I get the look I want. They all discussed what technique would be best to achieve that. I love that they worked as a team oppose to other salons I've been to, who don't consult with other stylist... Seeing that really made me feel not only my stylist but all the workers at J. Dall salon really enjoyed their job, each other, and just simply satisfying their customers! My hair was beyond perfect! It was better than the picture that i presented to them! Even color all around, no blotches, bright red with also dark red strands which I seriously never thought any salons were able to do... Norman gave me so much volume in my hair! I felt like a true rock star! They definitely know what they are doing!!! I 100% recommend this salon and definitely going back to see norman!
I will never go back neither one of their locations! I went got my hair for the first yesterday and I hated it. Don't get me they do have great customer . I was sent to sit in one of the new girls chair and didn't know wtf she was doing, keep stopping and going ask question people was coming over telling her she did this and that wrong plus I ended up getting a major headache from the braids and we had to stop. The girl didn't leave enough hair out to cover up my tracks and my part is too deep and that is not what I asked for. I was there from 1pm to 7 pm which I did not like, I was getting so frustrated with them that I said the hair was ok just so I leave because I've been there all day and neither of the stylist was doing exactly what I wanted. I really feel as if I wasted my 82 f*** dollars, the diamond package is bulls***, the first girl left a lump and talking about she couldnt fix it because of the package like for 82 d** dollars that should've been a style, flat iron and everything but I know now they will never get in my head again! They did let one of their better stylist re-sew my hair in and it looked better but I still have little leave out and I don't like that ! That was hair wasted and money wasted!!!
I LOVE HAIR LOVER'S.....I have been going to this salon for 7 years. Amy does a fantastic on my hair. Helen and Monica do an awesome job as well. Helen has done my hair too on many occassions. I stumbled into this salon 7 years ago and would NEVER dream of going any other place. These ladies are special.....Never once have I ever had a bad experience with this shop. I go every week twice a week.....so that is alot of hair care in 7 years don't you think? Their prices are extremely reasonable and the service is excellent. If for some reason you may not be content with your result these ladies will definely make sure that your satisified and do whatever necessary. I can't imagine that anyone that goes there would feel any differently. I have NEVER witnessed any unsatisfied customers in all these years regardless if AMY, HELEN, or MONICA does their hair. I know they have a great clientel I am one of them! HELEN being the owner is one heck of a person. I don't know what I would do without this salon. GOSH....I would have to go back to overpriced salons and probably go through many many many stylists to find a gem that I have found in HAIR LOVERS!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!
i have visit this placed and i was very satisfied with my visit. as i seen the place it's very nice and a very comfortable inviroment . i was very happy with the service i received. as i sat and waited for my hair cut i notice people were coming in and asking for their stylist by name as there are womens who get there hair color with heighlights and get there hair looking good . i will brag about this place and will come back as soon as i can .best hair salon i have beeen in along time and willl visit all over again . i would call first and make appointment as they get busy at times . i have followed them to there new location as they have moved down the street on west little york to a better and bigger and nicer place .i would call and get directins as is not hard to find because alot of people know this place by name. thanks
This is a diamond in the rough! You know when you are watching T.V. and all those Orange county girls have those perfect shiny french manicure nails and you're like why can't my nails look like that well this shop can do it for you. When i first started coming to Bella mare i lived 2 minutes away and there was 3 girls on the far right who really knew there stuff: I mean once who come here you'll how your nails are really suppose to look and be done I now know other nails shops are slacking on the work for funky higher prices anyways became clinged to Emily because she was so nice and RESPECTFUL. Well the shop changed hands but still had the same upscale eminence except the girls no longer wear all white and the manager is walking around making sure your happy all they need is some wine. This was my total relaxation place quiet ,smells good not like chemicals and they were very friendly and clean I mean clean. So when you go leave the kids at home and don't take any loud friends and never walk out without trying there European pedicure. It's best to make an appointment trust me. My nails would last for a month if needed so.
I got a groupon for a moisturizing treatment, cut and style at Visage. I had no problem making an appointment and neither did my roomate. We went on the same day 30 minutes apart. She went first, and I figured I would have a different stylist, becuse who could do all of that in 30 minutes! Well I had to wait an extra 40 min before I got in, bc they gave us the same girl. I don't know if she is the "coupon stylist" or what but she was VERY slow and did not even style my hair. I left with half wet hair that looked worse than it does when I get out of the shower. The owner guy even had to come help her "finish." and he kept giving her nasty looks to hurry up. and the young man who washed my hair was really awkward and didnt really was very good, not sure if I really even got the moisturizing treatment ever. Would not reccommend going here, they really shouldn't bother giving out coupons if they are just going to give the coupon holders their crapiest stylist and give them the crapiest service. I would have come back if I had liked it, but you guys did not earn my repeat service.
