After I figured out how to post 160000 bond I went straight to the Medilin Group and met with Gary this guy is good . He gets it all the first time you say it. He also makes it clear what could happen and he and his partners all work on the cases as a think tank. And promised me that who ever showed up at court with me was the best choice for my scenario Basically I would get three of the best ft worth attorneys for the price of one . Whatever they did must have scarred the state , The DA's office postponed the trial indefinitely and set a new hearing two months off . Four business days after that filed a motion to dismiss in the interest of Justice. This is in Johnson county simply amazing . Their communication couldn't get any better the ladies responsible , well unbelievable it was like we worked together for years they had what I wanted before I would ask .I should have checked to see if either were in the market. I've never met any that carried them selves in a more professional manner. THIS IS A WINNIG TEAM if I have ever met one. And get this Gary said he would handle getting it expunged off my record for free all I have to pay is the court filing fee. That's three top notch lawyers two professionals and take care of removing it off my record for the same price other individual lawyers want just to handle a criminal trial case then they want another 500-1000 to remove it off your record. MEDILIN GROUP IS THE BEST CHANCE YOUL HAVE AT WINNING AT THE BEST PRICE . so your already a winner regardless and I promise if any lawyer can win the case it's the medilin group I'll bet anyone they are noted for there results in the top 100 probably 50 firms nation wide. They made my number 1 on speed dial If I ever need a lawyer I guarantee I'll call them first.
Being faced with charges is not easy. Especially when you have no idea how the legal system works and who you could rely on, to guide you on the right direction. I was faced with a similar situation and I was helpless and didn't know what do to. I read all the advertisements that I had received from the surrounding law firms. It was when I picked up the advertisement from Varghese & Smith, that I stopped reading anything else any further. I knew this was where I had to go. It was the first and an immediate decision made, but nevertheless the best. Varghese & Smith put their best foot forward for me from the moment I chose to work with them on my case. I don't recall a single moment where I was disappointed or left unsatisfied as a client. Varghese & Smith don't just assure you the best but devotes their time into achieving it for you. They did for me. Aside from being extremely professional when dealing with legal issues, they also devote ample amount of time to their clients to hear them out, understand them and the situation they are in. I have never been more happy with any decision that I've made so far. I recommend Varghese & Smith for anyone who is undergoing a difficult time with the law. I was in that place too, but because I had Varghese & Smith by my side to help get me through it, I now have a chance at starting fresh for a better future. I will always be grateful for the effort and devotion that they have invested to ensure the best outcome for me.
I am pleased and honored to say I have Benson as my lawyer. When I first came to Benson, I was hopeless and scared with no knowledge how to resolve any law matters. I was facing up to 180 days in jail and up to a $2,000 fine plus court costs not to mention the collateral consequences a theft conviction would have on me and for the rest of my life. When I was fully convinced that I would not be able to resolve this matter which domino effected in a variety of person situations, Benson reassured me with his optimism. Benson has a wonderful heart for assisting people out of their own conundrum during an unplanned event in which they were involved. Also, patient, being a first time offender, he will take his time to discuss the process, any questions and keep you encouraged that as a team, the both of you will fix your mistake. Most importantly, Benson, is fully invested! He cares about his clients with each milestone, small or big, they achieve. Through my journey, we were able to resolve my case by having my case dismissed through the Deferred Prosecution Program!! I am in half way through succeeding completing the program, and if I successfully complete it, not only will my case will be dismissed, I will also be eligible for an expunction which would be a complete destruction of all the records relating to the arrest.
A few years back our company hired a big law firm to file a patent application. After 2 years and over $20,000 in costs, we came to the Eldredge Law Firm for guidance. As you may suspect, we were upset that we had already spent so much money and the application was not allowed. We were not impressed that the attorneys from our old firm could not convince the examiner. Shortly after meeting Mr. Eldredge, we hired him to take over the case. During our meeting, we were told that the examiner has closed examination on the application, and it would be very costly to continue fighting for it. However, Mr. Eldredge had worked with the examiner in the past and was able to give her a call. During his conversation with the examiner, he was able to convince the examiner that the application was patentable. He made a few changes to the application and it was later issued. Since then, we have filed 3 additional U.S. applications with the firm and are in the workings to file for a Chinese application with his Chinese associates. We are very pleased with the work done. You are in good hands with the Eldredge Law Firm.
I found Mr. Andrew Jones on here under Christian Lawyers and he was the only and I mean the "only " lawyer that made time for us and didnt say he needed money upfront of initial consutation and he said " if you like me you can hire me ".The other Christian law offices I contacted wanted 100 dollars up front and they said and they would decide if they wanted our case .In these economic times who can afford that kind of garbage .Mr.Jones was impressive ,he did massive research and covered us with laws and prayers . His work is amazing and yes he is a praying Lawyer and I'm glad . We were about to lose lots money and a house and we didn't even have to go before a judge because of him he mediated our case and we won !!! We have a house to live in thanks to God and this man . He's a very aimpressive and knowlegable lawyer and was way ahead of the lawyer he was up against in our case . I'm sure that he's not a arrogant person and won't admit to this but trust me God lead me to him and we were blessed If you want a Lawyer that's good ,call him . Thanks ! Kelly
I am astounded by the outcome Benson got for me on this case. I went to him after sleepless nights worrying about this case. The first thing that comes to mind is how easy he made the process. I came to him when I was facing a drug charge that could have resulted in a felony conviction and a lot of time behind bars. He took the time to meet with me, discuss the charge, what he would do, and what the possible outcomes might have been. I'm probably still in disbelief about what Benson was able to do. He was able to get my case no-billed. The second thing that comes to mind is his communication. His office and Benson were fantastic about communication. They have a client portal and are quick to get back to me when I ask them questions. I could always reach them over the phone too. I never had a question about what was going on or what was expected of me. Third, his was reasonably priced. I talked to several others that were less expensive and one that was more expensive but none that were as good as Benson. Certainly after this outcome, he is the only person I would recommend.
Mark Lane is a dedicated,Christian man. And God brought these caring loving people into my life at just the right time. Mark, Deborah and his awesome staff took on our case with only four days to trial. Everyone worked around the clock to get the case ready..Mark cleared his whole schedule for our Monday morning court date. The court date was postponed. Mark assured us that he was ready and we would win. We were going for 50/50 custody and would not settle for less. We had been following a 50/50 schedule for a year since the split. We finally got a new court date. We were in and out of court in less than an hour. The knowledge and confidence Mark has, I knew we wouldn't be disappointed. I always believed in him from the moment we met. We received everything we wanted and everything he told us was spot on. He is amazing, couldn't ask for better. I realize things don't always end up the way you want. But the time, energy and extreme caring that he has for his clients. I would use him all over again. I thank god everyday that Mark and Deborah crossed my path. It was destiny.
Just wanted to leave some positive feedback for Gary Medlin and his team. I’ve had the pleasure of working with The Medlin Law firm for a little over a year now, and have nothing but praise. Have had the opportunity to observe and evaluate their services, and they do top work in the criminal area of the law, all of their attorneys on staff really know what they are doing, and have a ton of real, hands down experience. When it comes to the Fort Worth and Dallas areas, one would be hard pressed to find another criminal firm as good as Gary and his team at getting you a positive result. Just from top to bottom, every step of the way they guide you and ensure you know exactly what to expect…they are just real pros who care about their clients. Meagan, HANDS DOWN THE best legal assistant I have ever worked with.....and one of the nicest most caring persons I've ever met in the legal industry!! If you are on the fence, and need a criminal attorney, don’t hesitate for a second to hire Gary and his team. They will give you the best chance at the most optimum results.
EXCELLENT DEFENSE ATTORNEY I would like to express my sincere gratitude for all of your help and professionalism during a most difficult time in my husband's life of being charged for a crime he did not commit. Harmony Schuerman and her staff handled my husband's case in a very professional manner from the first phone call and meeting as well as throughout the process. During our meetings Ms. Schuerman explained step by step the processes and what to expect. Ms. Schuerman was very knowledgeable about the law which led to a NOT GUILTY verdict in my husband's case. She was very diligent in handling my husband's case. It is very apparent to me that Ms. Schuerman conducts herself with the highest degree of integrity and it is easy to see why she is highly respected among her clients and peers in the court room. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ms. Schuerman if you want a professional, knowledgeable, very skilled, diligent, honest caring attorney that will FIGHT FOR YOU.
First I just want to say that without mr. Berenson and his team we never would have gained closure. My family was so distraught with the loss of our father. Not only did mr Berenson and his team give us closure but they were there for us emotionally as well as physically. I am a better father to my children today and a better husband to my wife. When we lost our father I could not move forward with life. I was stuck in a bad rut and couldn't get out. Mr Berenson helped me deal with my emotions and saved me from choices that I could have made. He was there to give us the information we needed in settling my dad's affairs that were left after his passing. Also his team was great with communication if we had a question it was answered right away even if it was at 7pm or on the weekend. Mr Bill found out exactly what happened in my dad's passing and gave us the answers that we didn't have even before we hired him! I would recommend him to anyone! Thank you so much Bill
The legal profession is vast, with each attorney having his or her specialties. Here are some of the most common attorneys individuals seek out when they require legal aid:
A criminal defense lawyer is probably the attorney the average person imagines. Criminal attorneys are the men and women who defend individuals accused of a crime. The lawyer may work pro bono - for the public good - so the accused is certain to have representation, even if he or she cannot afford an attorney.
Criminal lawyers are experts in the criminal justice system. They help their clients decide how to plead when first charged by the police and guide them through trial procedures. Defense lawyers must use every bit of their knowledge and resources to get their clients the fairest results from criminal proceedings.
If you are a small business owner or the head of a larger corporation, you may come into contact with a business lawyer. Many big companies keep a legal staff on payroll to deal with the daily operations of running and maintaining a large enterprise. Business lawyers may have more specific specialties like copyright law, product liability and mergers and acquisitions.
Business attorneys may focus their practices on certain industries. There are entertainment lawyers to guide artists through royalties and media contracts, while hospitals employ malpractice attorneys to protect doctors from aggressive litigation.
When you work for a company, you may find yourself in need of an employment lawyer - especially if the relationship between you and your employer sours. An employment attorney prevents people from losing their jobs due to unfair reasons. Workers' compensation lawyers help maintain safe employment conditions and ensure workers receive fair compensation after workplace injury or discrimination.
A personal finance attorney can protect and manage your investments and securities. You may use a finance lawyer to help you prepare your taxes, but you might be better off working with an accountant. A tax attorney is more commonly contacted after a business or individual runs into trouble with the IRS or state regulators.
Real Estate Lawyer
Your family may keep a lawyer on retainer to guide you through the major expenses that come up in life. When buying a home, you could work with a real estate lawyer to make sure you get the best deal and won't get taken advantage of by tricky mortgage agreements or unfair landlords. An estate attorney can help you plan for the worst by creating a will and preparing your finances for after your death.
A bankruptcy lawyer is essential to help you resolve your financial difficulties when they start to spin out of control. Certain attorneys help create strategies to bring you out of debt and speak to your creditors. A lawyer can advise you on which type of bankruptcy you should file for.
If you are suing someone or being sued, you need a civil lawyer. Civil attorneys - and criminal lawyers - are the legal representatives who argue on your behalf in a courtroom setting. Civil lawyers may represent you on matters of business, finance or a wide variety of other specialized needs.
One of the most common types of civil attorneys is a personal injury lawyer. When you're hurt by an outside party and you would like to hold them legally responsible, a personal injury attorney conducts litigation and negotiates settlements to compensate for your pain and suffering. Sometimes many wronged people will join together with a single civil lawyer or law office to form a class action lawsuit.
Most people will turn to a lawyer during a divorce to navigate the emotionally charged legal proceedings. A divorce attorney can assist in determining grounds for separation, division of property and custody of children.
Family attorneys deal with much more personal matters. If you're getting married, a family lawyer can help you prepare a prenuptial agreement or other family planning paperwork such as adoption or inheritance documents.
To ensure you find a competent attorney who won't abuse your trust or drain your finances, you have to make the proper inquiries. There are several questions you should ask, but the majority will fall under three general topics:
Training and Experience Questions
One of the best ways to determine quality is to examine an attorney's history. When you first step into a lawyer's office, you should check for the appropriate certifications and diplomas. You have to ask how long he or she has practiced law and request information that demonstrates the practice's success. Look for precise details such as percentage of cases settled out of court.
Once you inquire about the broad details of their legal career, you should ask questions about their experience that pertains to your specific issue. You should ask how many similar cases they have handled and if they have special skills or training that applies specifically to your needs. Lawyers can't mention clients by name, but you should ask for basic details about identical past cases.
You need to ask about every possible fee that will come up when working with an attorney. You should request a list of all costs in advance so you won't be surprised by additional expenses like overhead. Also determine exactly when you will start being billed. You want to inspect paperwork carefully. If the attorney charges you for his or her experience, you need to make sure he or she will perform tasks personally and not hand it off to an assistant.
Find out if the attorney has a flat fee or charges by the hour. Many civil lawyers work on contingency. Whatever the payment plan, make inquiries about how the lawyer plans to provide service for your money and what you can do if you start to feel unsatisfied with his or her performance.
Lawyer/Client Relationship Questions
When you hire a lawyer, you're agreeing to work with someone over a certain period of time. You need to ask questions about how the attorney will communicate with you and what responsibilities you hold in the relationship. The attorney should let you know the best channel for quick communication and you need to inform him or her when you want updates.
You should also ask questions to get to know the attorney as an individual in order to ensure this is a person you can trust. Ask about their legal philosophy and how he or she views the lawyer/client relationship. Great questions to start off with are ones that will make your life easier, such as how to keep fees down or what daily disruptions you should expect from a long legal battle. The more forthcoming the lawyer appears to be with individual needs, the better.
You may keep a lawyer on retainer or you could turn to an attorney during specific situations. Here are some common reasons people begin seeking legal representation or advice:
You Know Your Limitations
If you sign documents and you come across a word you don't recognize, you need assistance. You may need a third party to help you navigate important employment or real estate paperwork. It's essential you fully understand the terms of any legally binding documentation or activity you become a part of. If you are not an expert in a given field, you'll want to hire an attorney who is.
A lawyer may find legal implications or opportunities you might miss. If you find yourself in a civil or criminal matter, a proper attorney ensures you don't receive a harsh punishment for a small mistake.
You're Facing an Important Event/Decision
When making decisions critical to your financial stability or personal life, you may want a lawyer with expertise in your situation to make sure you do everything you can to arrive at the proper resolution. This is especially true when you become involved in a criminal case and your freedom is on the line.
It's not just a matter of legal knowledge; lawyer's have access to numerous resources you do not. They have staff ready to work around the clock and experts in a variety of fields to give your important issues the attention they deserve.
You Can't Be Impartial
During times when personal matters intersect with legal proceedings, you may need to have an advocate to prevent your emotions from getting in the way of level-headed thinking. For example, divorce lawyers can mediate a heated argument and help both partners get on with their lives.
Emotional investment could be subtle. You may want to have a lawyer look over an investment opportunity that looks too good to be true or investigate the merits of a possible civil suit when you feel wronged.
You're Out of Options
Many people turn to lawyers when they are in trouble. If you've been accused of a crime or are in a terrible financial situation, you can find an attorney who will work with what you have available to assist you as you deal with your problems.
Personal injury lawyers find solutions for people who can no longer work under their own power and bankruptcy attorneys prevent people from giving in to debt. If you find yourself in a situation where you can't find a solution, a lawyer may be able to offer the counsel you need.
When it comes time to choose a lawyer, you should start by searching close to home. While you probably don't want the conflict of interest that comes from being represented by a family member, friends and loved ones can recommend lawyers who served them well in the past. If you do have attorneys you are familiar with, ask who they believe would be best for you.
After going through personal references - especially from individuals who had similar needs - you should broaden your search through public information resources. You can call your area's attorney referral service or check legal organizations like Martindale-Hubbell. There are other resources available online. You should check websites for client reviews and other third-party forms of approval.
When you build a list of possible candidates, perform a background check on each one. See if you can find information on their history and success record. Once you find a possible lawyer, you should call to arrange a consultation so you can ask your important questions in person.
By performing the necessary research and taking every available precaution, you can narrow your search to the attorney most suited to your needs.
