LOVE THIS LITTLE PLACE - CONSISTENLY AMAZING FOOD! I really love this little restaurant. The only reasons that I docked them a star is (a) because it's so tiny inside that they have to have the smallest little chairs and tables and the chairs are like little kid's chairs so it's not very comfortable to sit (although I don't mind that they are so small - I think it adds to the quaint character ... I tend to enjoy boutique businesses because of the attention to detail and personalized service) - and - (b) because it's cash only. I understand that credit card fees are expensive but it's hard because every time I want to go there I realize I don't have any cash, so they don't make it very easy or convenient to do business with them that way. Otherwise, it's cute and quaint and the food is absolutely phenomenal. It is consistently great no matter what you order. I've never had a bad dish or glass or bowl of anything here. It's ALWAYS amazing. The raspberry iced tea-lemonade combo is delish & refreshing and the banana cake is to die for. Actually all of their desserts are to die for. Everything is made fresh from the freshest ingredients. I really don't know where of how they get everything so fresh. They also have the best specials like meatloaf and quiche - stuff you just don't get anywhere else. Each dish is so full of flavor, presented nicely and is the perfect size. The soups are also just perfect and again just bursting with freshness and flavor. I feel like I am in my grandma's garden room and she just made me some of her amazing fresh dishes with veggies, fruits and spices from her garden whenever I go there. The owners are also really great - 2 men who are always friendly and working hard. I think they have been around for like 20 years, maybe longer, so they are definitely doing something right! And they are also always crowded, so that also speaks to the quality of the food. I do wish that they were open for breakfast or at least brunch ... and for dinner ... and on the weekends :)! I would go much more frequently if they were open more often and if they took credit cards. I still try to go as often as I am able whenever I am in the downtown Boca Raton area. If you haven't been to the Tin Muffin, make it a point to go - it's a real treat! Just don't forget your cash. Also, when you look at the menu they may seem a little pricey for what you're getting, but once you taste your apps, meals and muffins or desserts, you will know that it's worth every penny. And don't let your visit fall on a diet day because you simply have to get one of their decadent desserts too. TIN MUFFIN IS A DEFINITE GO!
Went there last night because I hadn't heard of this place, and I know most places in deerfield/boca/delray. Decided to meet a friend there, where the place was small and clean and looked like a very cute typical sushi place. We got there pretty late for a monday night and there were only a couple people there. However, the sushi was THE BEST I've had in a VERY long time. It was fresh and good portioned, presented specialty rolls creatively, which looked amazing. The fish didn't taste like some other places, where the fish can taste a bit fishy/bloody which is gross. We shared a tuna tartar, which was on point. I ordered a rainbow and spicy tuna roll, which were again, excellent. At the end of our meal, the sushi chef and owner Joe came over and brought us a small piece of mochi for us to share. He asked about our meal and then told us a bit about himself. It so happens, he's had MANY years of experience and worked at NOBU for years (if you know good sushi, then you'll know NOBU is on another level) as well as many finer sushi places around the country. He also told us he as a special freezer, which freezes the fish after being butchered to -30Celsius. He explained the importance of it to kill bacteria and better the quality. Awesome place and food, defintely must try.
When you walk into "Thats A Wrap", you will feel like you are outside on the streets of New York. The decor is totally amazing, original, and touching. The food is beyond good, it is AMAZING!!! Everything is fresh, and made on the premises. You can create your own sandwiches, your own wraps, and because we are all so conscious of our weight, and into healthy eating, you can also create your own salad. There are so many different varieties of wraps, pannini's, etc., to choose from, that you will never get bored. Thats A Wrap deserves a 5 star rating from its' ambiance, to its food!!! Go and see for yourself., You will not be disappointed!!
Stumbled across this place after reading some awesome reviews online and was looking for a new Italian place, and this place over delivered. We sampled a variety of dishes and each was better than the last. The sauce was to die for, the fish was cooked perfectly and the pizza was other worldly. I don't know how I've been missing out on 'Grandma's Pie' my entire life, but I now know that I simply can not exist with out it. If it's the one thing you try, get it. Your mind will be blown. A definitely must!
THIS IS THE BEST SUSHI I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!! And it will be the best sushi you will have ever had too! And i've tried a lot of sushi spots in Florida...I was weary about leaving this review because I want this to stay my own secret amazing sushi spot, but since it's a new restaurant I want to tell everyone about it so it can stay open!Go to this place if you like sushi! Joe will serve you the freshest fish you could ever eat. Guaranteed.
In Boca for a conference. Needed a kid friendly place. This was perfect. Great deal on appetizers when u buy a pitcher of tea or coke. Loaded nachos on Monday. Onion stix on Tuesdays etc. Service was fast not perfect but very attentive. Huge menu. Seafood choices and ribs. Salads. Appetizers were good. Fish dip very good. Big locals hang out. Kids food was typical and plenty. Ribs , corn dog's, mac n cheese. Good place.
We were really lucky to find la rosa nautica for our company anniversary celebration. Great service and the food was fantastic. everything was delicious. i highly recommend them for any of your catering needs and also the restaurant. I was so impressed with the quality they provided us on our party that my family and I visited their restaurant next day, and they did a great job again.
Way OVERPRICED and food is nothing special. I used to goto this place when it first opened (before it changed hands and name) and loved it. It has gone down hill ever since. What a shame since it's a great little spot in a good shopping center. Oh and hopefully these ratings websites remove this Robert F persons fake reviews, probably the owner.
Was referred by a local when visiting. Great little Gastro-pub in East Boca Raton, FL. The menu wasn't huge, but everything we ordered was yum. The Pork Belly Sandwich and Sriracha popcorn were some of the highlights and the "Pickled Jar" of various vegetables was great. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
had dinner here tonight; all dishes were attractive and tasty but the service was untrained at best. Did not remember to pick up drink order from bar, removed water glasses after one glass. Cleared table at wrong time (other table guests still eating) or not at all between courses.
