GREAT SERVICE!!! I was there on Sunday Feb 12, 2012 at the Miami Brickell Salon, mind you that morning Miami weather was cooooold in the upper 40s to mid 50s and windy on top of all that.... but as soon as I walked thru the door I was greeted so warm, cheerful, my appt was at 10am I got there early around 9:45am I was asked to sit on this nice area, no soon I sat down my stylist showed greeted me nicely, talked to me about the products the salon carries and recommends for their clients, showed me the back rooms where the massages and waxing gets done "soooooo peaceful" ... then sat at his chair, oh pardon me where are my manners my stylist name is Gustavo, so nice such a gentlemen... while I was in his chair, Stephanie (I hope that is how is spelled) asked me if I wanted a mani/pedi I told her I was very leary of it because I have had bad experiences in the past, she assure me that I was going to be very pleased with it so Jennifer started my manicure while Gustavo was doing my hair, then Felix washed my hair.... OMG he had the hands of an angel he massage my scalp I swear I was falling asleep and to think that I google for places that uses and carries a PhytoSpecifics products and Trini in Private was on top of the search results, then I started to look at the prices and let me tell ya "I thought they were great" honestly .... so after my was washed, treated, scalp messaged, jump back in Gustavo's chair couldn't believe the results then Jennifer still needed to do my pedi which it felt so good.... This was my me day and I really got pampered!!!! oh and all the perks you get 25% for referral that you also get... this is to good to be true ... I had to pinch myself.... I'm going back.... I do not have anything bad to say about them..... I did booked my 3 next appts .... all I can I say is that I am so HAPPY that I have found a salon that can actually do my hair the way I like.... oh next will be highlights... I can't wait for that..... Trini in Private you sure have my business .... for years to come... Thank you guys and gals for letting me feel so good.... and making me pretty!!
Beauty Salons of America is a great salon with exceptional stylists! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by friendly faces at the front desk, and are even offered a glass of wine while you wait. It's very modern, clean and appealing. I find their services to be reasonably priced depending on what it is that you get; I firmly believe in the motto "you get what you pay for." They handle your hair with great care and make sure that you are comfortable from sitting at the sinks for the wash, the temperature of the water, and even when they are brushing out your hair. I have very blonde (colored) and very long, wavy hair, and I have never had a problem when they wash me out or brush out my hair (which has a propensity for getting tangled). Contrary to EVERYTHING 2helpfriends has written, the salon does not use cheap products. Their colors are Wella, they carry and use products such as Kerastase and Moroccan Oil. Last I checked, not exactly "cheap" or "inferior". Furthermore, their prices are exactly what you would expect for the quality of work and the level of skill that you get. Remember, you get what you pay for!!! If you want cheap/crappy work, then go elsewhere, but I know that I wouldn't risk damaging and destroying my hair to save a couple bucks. Also, the salon and staff is very upfront with their prices if you ask them how much your service will be whether when you are making your appointment or when you check in (I don't think I've ever been to a salon where they just have the prices of their services listed like a fast food menu on the wall. I ALWAYS make it a point to ASK!). Again, this is salon has a very friendly and inviting atmosphere with many skilled and talented stylists. If you want high quality work (with reasonable prices), great attention to detail, and an overall great experience, I HIGHLY recommend Beauty Salons of America Hair Salon!!!
I went to Trini in Private Salon located in Brickell and oh my god I had the most amazing time of my life. Coming into the salon, everyone at the front desk stood up and greeted me with smiles. They took my name and told me to sit down at the retail area for a moment. I sat down and an employee came immediately and asked me if I would like something to drink. They gave me a delicious glass of wine and a piece of chocolate. What a great service!!! I went for an eyelash extension with Michelle and she did such a great job!! She asked me what I wanted and she gave me exactly what I asked for!! I am so happy and I look so beautiful!! At the front desk with this sweet woman named Suzy and she complimented my eyelashes and made me feel special. I even took another appointment to do my hair for next week! I can't wait because I know that they will do a great job! After paying, they gave me a rose and Gustavo, the manager of the salon, opened the door for me like a real gentlemen. I've never been happier with any other service; it was truly the best! I highly recommend going to Trini because you won't regret it! They make you look beautiful and feel special. Trini in private is the only salon I will go to from now on!! After my fabulous eyelash extension experience at Trini Brickell with Michelle, today I came back for my highlights and a cut with Christian. It was so great!! It was my first time doing highlights.. ever! I was really scared at first and I wasn't sure what I wanted but Christian came to the rescue!! He took his time to explain everything and he helped me decide on what colors I should use. Trusting him, I let him do his thing and OMG i've never looked better!! He then cut my hair and blow-dried it and I absolutely love it. I know that Trini Brickell hair salon is the hair salon and spa for me!! it will be for you too if you give it a try! :)
I heard of Trini Salon through my sister. She had gotten her hair cut there and told me of her wonderful experience. You're probably wondering what is the big deal... Well pretty much we have very "difficult" hair. Coming from colombian (white) and afro-cuban decent, my hair is EXTREMELY CULRY, yet fine, yet dry. It had also been a long time since my hair encountered scissors. Anyways, after seeing her hair for months look so good and receiving so many compliments for her and being a model for her before look : ( i decided to cut my frumpy hair. My hair was cut by Gustavo C. He did a really good job. Basically my hair has never been cut like this! You can consider this my FIRST haircut because all my past hair cuts were done WRONG! This was the first haircut done RIGHT!!! Gustavo cut my hair dry! Which is the way curly hair should be cut, not wet like everyone else will probably tackle it. When it is wet the hair scrunches up and you can never cut it right. Gustavo made sure he cut every piece. Perfectly! Piece by piece I could see it forming a nice shape instead of the uniform shape it had before. He was such a perfectionist and took his time on my hair even though i was late for his appt. He cut me dry and finished off with a shampoo and conditioner and a little bit more cutting. The end result was FABULOUS!! It took a day or two to get used to styling since i was used to working with it frumpy but now its great! And i am getting ALOT of compliments. Thanks Gustavo and thanks Trini Salon! I defintiley encourage anyone with curly hair to visit this salon for a great cut like never before. : )
The salon Trini in private is the best salon I have ever been to. The people there treat you as if you are royalty! They are great and so is the look of the salon. I went there to get a hair cut by Christian. The way he takes care of your hair- so gently and smoothly- is incredible. The way you see the hair flying from behind you is incredible due to the fact of his movements with the sissors. The hair cut was great... I felt like a MODEL! During the cut, you have one of the lovely spa girls give you a complementary relaxing hand massage that just relaxes your mussels to the point that you dont feel them anymore. It feels great. Then, I did my nails with a master! Her name is Michelle and she is the best. I've never liked the way people took care of my nails but she was completely the bomb! The thing that I liked the most was Raymond. Raymond is a great gentlemen who opens the door for you, offers you something to drink (white whine. hot/cold green tea, water, or coffee), and treats you like you are a rose. Speaking of roses, the day I was in the salon (friday) he gave each client a rose. I truly think that that is the sweetest thing... Maybe it is the French way... lol Bottom line, I can recommend this salon to everyone and I can rate it with big/earned 5 stars!!... Check it out!...
Basically my hair was a mess from years of bad dye jobs. I wanted to look pretty because I was meeting my boyfriend's family for the first time last year. I wanted my hair cut in layers and dyed red (a nice red, not crayola red). Well, I ended up going to the wrong place... At first after I came out of a [bad] salon, my hair looked nice (because it was all curled up). But the next day, I noticed what a mess it was. Basically, the roots of my hair were crayola red, and the rest of my hair had blotches of black and red (before the red, my hair was dyed black). I was on the verge of tears... But my boyfriend set up an appointment at Ugo di Roma for a Christmas present...and let me tell you... the woman who fixed my hair, Phen, worked miracles. It was a bit pricey, but well worth it! My hair looked gorgeous and she fixed the years of bad dye jobs...My hair was in such bad shape that I actually thought she would have to shave my head...It was that bad... I had tears. However, Phen basically spent the WHOLE day with me fixing my hair WHILE working with other clients. She was truly dedicated to fixing my hair, and that she did. And because of her, I made a good impression on my boyfriend's family!
Like others have said, it's open, CLEAN, really nice ambiance with white modern decor, with very friendly staff. Amazing array of Zoya , Essie colors and lots of Gelish gel polishes like I never seen anywhere else I work in the healthcare field and it's useless to attempt any maintenance of a manicure, so I went in solely for a pedi. I was offered tea and water. I love places with massage chairs while you get your piggies pampered. I think Nailbar has the nicest ones around. Claudia gave me hands down the best pedicure I've ever had. The soaking, the lotioning, the massaging, then more soaking, and more massaging, and exfoliating, and then came out the callous shaver. I really like the cleanliness of the place . I've never spent so much time getting a pedicure, and I have to say it was an hour very well spent. My piggies are so purrrrrrrrty!! I really hope they do well cause it is on my neighborhood - I love supporting my local businesses and plan to visit Nailbar everytime I need my toes redone! O. Sundays of course since is my day off , and they offer free mimosas . Yay ! Seriously - if you're anywhere near midtown area get over to Nail bar and let yourself be pampered!
Seriously, the best place to get your hair revitalized and shining again! Everyone who knows me, knows that I've hated my thick, coarse, and curly hair since middle school. When I got to high school, I met my best friend- the straightening iron. After years of ironing twice and sometimes even three or four times a WEEK, my hair looked like super damaged dry straw hay. It literally felt and looked like the bottom of an old broom that had been stuck into a fire place and burnt. After discovering Kairos shortly after graduating from high school, my hair is in a MUCH BETTER condition. It's shiny again, I can run my fingers through my hair without any knots or tangles, and most importantly, the kindness and bond I feel with my stylist is as if I'm family. The products they use here are professional and legitimate. The prices are great for the quality of work that's being done and I honestly couldn't be happier with my hair! If this salon could fix my dry, damaged, ugly hair which I thought had no other option that to just cut it all off, then this salon is seriously a miracle working salon! Imagine what they can leave your hair looking like if you dont have any damage!
The salon is just great! I've been a customer for over a year now and always had a positive experience. The ladies there are really friendly and professional. Waxing is never fun, but Erika is fast, professional and accurate! She knows how to deal with delicate skin types and the hair regrowth shows up after a long time. Yes, it is a little pricey but it's worth it. I love the pedicures here . I dont believe in many of the reviews I read about this place, I've been coming here for a long time and never experience a bad service . I did tried pretty much all the technicians here and their service was always great. I had to wait a little bit a few times , but no major complains like other reviews mentioned. Receptionist was telling me ex employees and other salon owners were going viral online to write false reviews and hurt their reputation. I guess success hurts and jealous people can't deal with it. I wish them the best and even more success!
Hands down the best nail salon I have ever been to...great leg/foot massage during my pedi ( you cna ask for an Add-on 10 minute smore if you need), fantastic color selection and of course the most important thing: nail polish that lasts well over a month. The owner has great customer service and knows her clients by name - it is clear she has a loyal following. Many of the employees have worked here for a long time. I remember coming here with my bridal party 10 months ago and realizing one of my dresses was wrinkled. The owner insisted on walking my dress over to a nearby dry cleaner to have it steamed while I was getting my nails done. It was a huge stress relief and completely unexpected! But back to the important stuff - the staff do a great job and are consistent - that is what is great. It doesn't matter who you get, your nails will look good and last. I don't get my nails done too often any more but when I do, only go to Nailbar Midtown
