Great ramen & dim sum place in Decatur, especially on cold winter evenings. The cuisine isn't strictly Japanese or Chinese or Korean, bur rather a combination of flavors from throughout the Asian countries. Some of my favorite dishes include pork belly buns (voted best in the city!) and the seasonal kimchi and pickle plate. Makan is yet another Asian fusion restaurant. Korean cuisine is my absolute favorite so I decided to try their Korean options. I had their Korean pancakes, kimchi and pickled veggies. All items were tasty but lacked that true authentic flavor that makes Korean food the deliciousness I love! I also tried the pork belly bao buns. They were great! The pork belly was seasoned to perfection!Makan had an excellent drink menu with one of my favorite brews on drought! Creature Comforts Tropicalia!FYI they have a happy hour week days from 5pm-7pm!

We had fun here and the atmosphere was very friendly and casual but it looked nice just like the food. I enjoyed the chicken stew, my husband loved his jerk chicken, and my son loved their wings. The service was outstanding. We never had to ask for anything and even received extra jerk sauce without asking and the TV was turned on for us. Yes, there were fans there but the owner was kind and made sure one was turned on us.
Foods decent. They never have what's on the menu. It's over priced for the quality. Never have AC??? How does the health Dept allow them to remain open with the front door propped open??? BTW, they try to con off country time lemonade for $3 a glass
