I came to the Salon at the end of the day on Saturday without a reservation. There were no openings, but Charles stayed late to give me a haircut. When he heard I was from Naples,Florida he ask me if I was OK. I told I was but I was worried about my friends and family that stayed. I got a great haircut and he would not let me pay for the haircut.He was doing a very kind gesture to someone who was escaping the hurricane. Raleigh should be proud to have Charles in your community.
I have been coming to Amal for years. She is one of the few stylists that I have ever had that can cut and style curly hair. From cuts to color, I trust that she knows what she is doing. I absolutely trust her implicitly. I will go nowhere else.
I was happy with Chuck and my perm he gave me. I did not care for the trim, I wanted a cut. I was shocked when I went to pay for the perm. $145.00. I would like to know how they came up with that figure. I am on Social Security and cannot afford this. As far as price goes, I would not recommend this Salon. This place is disgusting. The owner is a two faced idiot. He is extremely arrogant, has no morals or values. Don only truly cares about ripping off his clients. His services are indeed basic and not impressive. He has stylist on his website that don't even work for him. Like I mentioned he is arrogant, pressumes of what he has not. He trash talks about his employees and clients as well. Don't waste your time and money at this salon. Its sincerely NOT worth it.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Where do I start????I picked this salon because I saw so many good reviews but now I now I'm really confused. So first off, my appointment was set for Thursday and I wanted 45 min for my stylist before I got up and told them to just cancel my appointment because I was tired of waiting. The owner came up and apologized and offer to take care of me on Saturday on his day off. This was very nice even though it was an inconvenience for me to have to come back and switch my day around. So I came back and the appointment was ok but the owner (my stylist) kept bragging about how good he is and how many famous peoples hair he has done. Once done, I was really not impressed with the hair and here is what did me in. When I called to schedule my first appointment, I asked about the price and the receptionist had told me that with full foils and hair cut would be $145 with my new client discount. She even had me talk to the owner and confirm that highlight and lowlights would be included in this price. Well when I went up to go pay, the receptionist (a different one) rang me up at $316!!!! WTF?!?! The receptionist said it was because the owner charges extra for his services BUT the only reason I was even booked with him was because my first appointment was super LATE and he offered to make it up to me! Also, he put extra colors in my hair without even consulting the difference in price with me, he didnt even ask if I wanted the extra colors, I just assumed it was just part of the service because it was my first time there and every salon is different. Well anyway, the owner came to talk to me and all of sudden he was rude and actually argued with me and told me that they never give out prices and that no salon anywhere would charge such a low price and told me I must be going to pony shops?!?!?!? INCREDIBLY RUDE!!! I used to go to Charles Penzon in Columbus which was the very high class salon and I never paid over 200 with tip and sometimes even buying shampoos/conditioner! Right after that, I heard him walk to the salon area and trash talk me while I was still there. UNBELIEVABLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! If your receptionist tells me an inaccurate price, its not my fault she was not trained properly. Don't argue with me! I would have never even put my foot in that door had I known I would be asked to pay more than double the price that the receptionist told me! Seriously unreal.
this is the first time I went there...and I must admit this is the most filthy saloon I have ever seen..there is on chinese lady who does not understands english properly and capable of wiping ur hair within fraction of second...she did that to me and I have to deal with this one for atleast 5 months
I love every visit I make to Blo. All of their stylists are very educated and knowledgable in the industry. The guest services staff is always very welcoming and helpful. I always leave feeling fabulous, I couldn't imagine going anywhere else to get my hair done! If you haven't been to Blo yet, you need to go!
I honestly used to haaaate getting my hair cut. Partly because I don't like making small talk and mainly because to get a good hair cut you got pay $$$. That changed when I went to Atomic. I've been getting my hair cut by Liz and she is freaking awesome. She's super cool and she's given me the best haircuts of my life. I've honestly stopped caring about having to spend money on a haircut because they're so good. I used to go as long as possible without a haircut but now I wouldn't mind going once a month.The price isn't outrageous and you definitely get your money's worth. Go see Liz!
Very poor attitude. They refuse to take care of people with service animals, demanding loudly that they leave. When taken to task about this violation of the American Disabilities Act (ADA) by the US Dept of Justice they refuse to mediate and thumb their noses at the laws protecting disabled people.
