I was racially profiled by a staff member! A woman in a red Target shirt literally (and quite obviously) followed me around the store for 45 minutes! It was completely unbelievable! The craziest thing about it is she couldn't have been loss prevention dressed in the Target uniform and pushing around a basket full of items. The first thing I learned in retail was to never do LP's job, and she clearly had to have been a sales associate who was NOT doing HER job. I'd call myself lucky because I have never been followed around in a store in my life (at least not to my knowledge), and it was so terribly upsetting from a store I love to shop at... NEVER going back to this location.
I just had the worst customer service experience at this Walmart store, that I have possibly ever had in my life.I have gone to this store for years now, for both groceries and other items, and never had any big problems. However, tonight I went to return an item that I had bought a few weeks ago for a family member who lives out of the country. Upon receiving the item in question, my family member opened it and realized that there was nothing in it. He tried to return it to the Walmart store in that country (with the receipt), but they would not receive it, so he mailed it back to me so that I could return it to the store I bought it at- Walmart store #2821. The lady assisting me at the customer service/returns area was very nice, but she had to ask someone for approval as to what to do. She asked the assistant manager, who looked over at my spouse and I, shook his head, and said that he "didn't believe" what we were saying because "it wouldn't take a month" for us to return it. He said this with a scowl and a clear attitude in his voice. As I could hear him, I said "If you come over here, I will be happy to explain the situation." I explained to him what had happened and he looked at me with an unbelieving expression on his face. I even showed him the return postal package that the box had been sent to me, on which it clearly showed another country. He stated that we needed to "do more investigation" and that he did not believe us. He was not friendly and with both his words and tone, clearly questioned my integrity in front of many people. I told him that I was not lying, and that I am an honest person. He shook his head, said something rude, and then walked off from the area. At this point, I honestly do not care if they exchange the item or not, and I do not need the money back for the item. If this gentleman had nicely explained why he could not take the item, I could accept that. However, I cannot accept the attitude/treatment that I received. It was and is unacceptable.
