For the third time in a year after tracking my packages it says delivered. Never got any of them. Called this so called post office many times. The supervisor (?) Lee, I have talked to him until I turned blue in the face, does nothing. Says he will investigate and get back to me. Never does! Went down there in person and asked for him. After 5 minutes . he stuck his head around the corner and said " What do you need? Did not have the courtesy of walking 8 feet over to the counter to speak to me. I said I need you to walk over here and talk to me! Ever time I call down there I get idle promises, not one has been carried out. They always have an alibi. Three packages in about a year, said delivered, never got any of them. Called the postmaster.same thing. Wrote a letter to the regional office in Bridgeton N.J. that is supposed to deal with this sort of thing. Never even got back to me. I'll tell you, these clowns are in the union and they know no one is going to do anything to them, because the people above them could care less as well. These packages were all scanned at the time he was here on that day, so he had them in his hand. One of my neighbors told me that the same thing happened to her. These were all expensive items. The place that you bought it from is surely not going to reimburse any one when they see the package tracking says delivered. No one cares about anything at this office. It is not the only Post office that is like this, it is about the same everywhere. They know that whatever they do nothing will happen to them.
Mail in my apartment bldg is not being put in the individual boxes. The mail is being dropped in a crate in the hallway which is there for the circulars NOT PERSONAL MAIL!. So we have to go through the crate to retrieve our mail. If there is no apt. number on the mail it is placed in my mailbox #1. I tried calling the Post Master General, held on the line for 16mins and was then disconnected. Please read this review and correct the errors as soon as possible. Thank you!
Why offer a contact number when they literally take the phone off the hook. What about customer service.
Can someone please tell me why our mail does not show up until 5pm now! Plus the postal worker is nasty and acts like she does not want her job, with all the people out of work she should be alot more pleasant, can someone please answer my questions, thank you
In 10 yrs of living in DE (previously Hockessin) I never had a problem with the USPS. Now, in Marhsallton, 8 deliveries have been lost between 10-2014 and 04-2015. In addition only 2 deliveries have ever been sent to the correct location. Everything else goes to my neighbor, who is not always neighborly. That may not sound bad, but I placed 180 orders in that time frame, and only 2 that came via USPS, count 'em, only 2 orders were delivered to the correct location. This is my business! This is my life here! UPS and FedEx seem to have no problems.When I got them on the phone and called the person out on their branch's incompetence I was told that a) they don't have GPS so it's not their fault and b) "his drivers" can't be expected to deliver to areas not clearly marked. Well I certainly hope that was a manager with repeated comments like "his drivers." I don't own the property, have no control over the markings, and have called in many times about this problem. As far as I'm concerned I did my part. They are not trying to land safely on the moon. They drive up and down roads and stuff things in mailboxes. They can make adjustments based on call-ins. Did I mention that UPS and FedEx have no issues? Neither do private shippers. Apparently only "his drivers" have a problem.
The tall, slender black lady who often quietly sings with the radio is wonderful. She's very personable, yet remains efficient and does her job flawlessly. However, The short, grumpy white lady is extremely rude to customers, and rarely seems to do her job properly. I've had multiple issues with packages arriving A MONTH after I left them in her incapable hands, as well as packages that have gone missing and are nowhere to be found. BEWARE of her if you want your mail to ever get shipped. I've not been assisted by the taller, more fuller figured black lady, but when I've seen her assist other customers she's always polite and personable as well. One bad egg should NOT be spoiling this post office! 5 stars for two of the ladies.... 0 stars for the rude troll!
Package supposed to go to New Jersey instead being delivered in MA. All they can do is basically what we can do, track the package and let it all work out. I have a deadline for that mail. ugh!!!! Do not use this post office.
I work for a company here in Downtown Willington, DE and this post offices open at 5:00am over 10 years and now the doors do not open till 7:00am, now I feel they could have posted or sent a letter out saying company could not pick up there mail any longer at 5:00am.the post office need to do better.
First off the delivery people NEVER EVER EVER knock. They just leave the slip. Makes getting packages a hassle. I work the entire time they are open for. Justgive me my package. Also the people that work at the popost office are rude as hell. Especially the lady. I dread when I go in and see her there. Sometimes I'm standing at the counter for a long time waiting while I hear multiple workers in the back messing around. They peak out. Make eye contact. And go back to whatever dumb stuff they were doing. They need to fire all of them then get a whole new group of people.
Beware!Package scanned into Marshalton post office. Sorted then scanned out for delivery. Poof it just vanished on the truck. That's it now it becomes my loss. A very expensive irreplaceable loss. Lost or stolen? I'll never know cause these people aren't held accountable or responsible.
