The pharmacist at Behrens Pharmacy is immoral. Do not come to this local pharmacy expecting the care of a friendly neighborhood pharmacy. When I came here to get a prescription filled--which I urgently needed because I would be traveling the next day--the pharmacy refused to fill it, unless I paid an extra $30 on top of the $10 copay I owed. The pharmacist was rude and unprofessional, as was the man who manned the cash register, shouting at me and demanding the bogus fee. These people line their own pockets at the expense of patients. I had never experienced anything like it. I pay nearly $500 a month for health insurance, and my prescription is covered under the insurance plan with a $10 copay. I have never had a pharmacist demand extra cash--above and beyond the copay--to fill a prescription. It is reprehensible. To make things even worse, the pharmacist offered to remove the bogus fee if I transferred more prescriptions to the pharmacy. I didn't have any other prescriptions, so then she rescinded her offer to remove the bogus fee. In other words, I didn't have enough ailments for her to make money off of my health problems. Repulsive. Stay away from this place. I recommend nearby Myrtle Pharmacy, which has never tried to extort me like Behrens.
Duane Reade pharmacy owned by Walgreens is cheating customers! Every week different prices on exactly the same drug. Workers instructed by management to deceive customers. Rude Staff. They won't honor discount coupons blaming discount issuer. Take your money and business from these Jewish Crooks! Other pharmacies will gladly take your discount coupon and business! You have been Warned!
Usually I did not have problem with them. Their Issue: poor system on giving medication side. On June 3rd, they forgot to give me "prednisone " (hormone medication which doctor prescribed with others). I was in the pharmacy every day except 4th and they saw my condition and did not tell me that they have medication for me. Summary: all these days until I finally got the medication I have a high temperature, issue and pain during breathing, could not eat properly. This is unacceptable service.
The customer service levels have improved tremendously since the last time I used this pharmacy. I was assisted right away and provided helpful guidance on my prescriptions.
My friend suggested this place for me, I actually didn't use this pharmacy at first. However, first time there, I was grabbing an antibiotic. The staff was friendly, the pharmacist maintained my privacy, and I got a free drink!
Convenient!!!!staff knows their stuff, friendly cashiers. Welcoming environment, pharmacist Morgan is always so willing to help. Got a consultation on a medication I've been taking for years so I didn't need it but it was nice to see him interacting with his patients
This business runs by Russians. They don't speak English and very rood to customers . Don't stresses yourself going there! There is a lots of pharmacy's on the same block. They speak English and have better services .
Very friendly and helpful local store. Super fast service. Much better experience than with a chain. Would highly recommend.
Gene is a great person, he helped me find all the vitamins i needed for my headache. He also helped me get new hair colouring.
I have been going to this pharmacy for 6 yrs getting the same medicine. Nobody remembers me and they never seem to have my medication and to order it which isn't too bad but it takes 4 or more days for them to get it... You'd think after all these years they would automatically order it when they run out. Their customer service sucks!
