Bistro Six is a great find, a neighborhood eatery that is both elegant and moderately priced. When you need a break from the fast paced world in which we live, relax in the tastefully appointed ambiance and enjoy the truly delicious fare. The food is exquisitely prepared, and you are given the attention that is usually reserved for much more expensive restaurants. If the specials contain some of your favorites, go for them – but then again, you can’t go wrong with their regular menu items, either. On a personal note, I took a “first date” to this restaurant, and we’ve been together ever since. I can’t give ALL the credit to Bistro Six, but … it certainly helped me look good! Treat yourself to this wonderful place – you’ll be glad you did.
Off the main street in Federal Hill, the decor of the street and the decor of Caserta Pizzeria isn't the most impressive by any means. But the food is excellent. There isn't a whole lot of variety here, it's pretty much pizza or Wimpy Skippy. WTF is a Wimpy Skippy you ask? Well it's a stuffed spinach pie stuffed with cheese and pepperoni. The pizza is damn good and so are the Wimpy Skippys, especially if you like spinach. The crust is hand made and unique. The prices are reasonable too. If you're thirsty you might want to look for some place else because all the soda's here are by the can. This place is great for large parties and probably a nice after sports place, (e.g. little league, soccer games, etc.)
Love the environment and people in the area, i enjoy serving and providing everyone with great food. My goal is to make sure that what ever i do is to everyones satisfaction. There is no room for error in todays times and i see that within that area i can grow and make everyone happy. Great food is good health sure everyone loves Mc Donald's but for the same money i provide food that is grilled fresh and the taste is unbelievable. I try to accommodate everyone from meat eaters to vegetarians to non pork eaters. The name of my place says it all Out The Box is freshness guaranteed!!!!!!!!!!!!>>>>>
My family and I are huge pizza fans. We just recently moved to this area about a year ago. In getting familiar with the area we decided to try Joe's Pizza, a small place on a couple of feet from the corner of White Plains Road and East 233rd Street. We where suprised because we expected the usuall from a place like that but we got the total oposite. The food is great. Not to mention that they deliver. Compared to the big chain pizza names Joe's is way better and a lot cheaper.
Papa John's does not deliver door to door in this neighborhood. They actually want you to come outside to their car to pick up food.OUTRAGEOUS!! I understand being cautious but, come on. My building has a doorman. They won't even bring food to lobby. Papa John's is not cheap. This kind of service is not courteous and is also disrespectful to paying customers.. Never again will this location get my money...
Eaten at Patricia's of Tremont for years and the food is better than ever. Greeted at the door by Anthony is always a treat. It's the little things like remembering what wine I like and what my favorite dish is, that goes a long way. The brick oven pizza is a must but be sure to check out their weekly specials, always keeps it interesting. Hands down Patricia's of Tremont is the real deal. Check it out.
My family has been going to Coals for a few years and have always found the food to be freshly prepared and of good quality. The service is also quite good. The ambiance is kind of unique - there is a lounge with sofas and books to read while you are waiting, or you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer, or you can also dine in the lounge. We will keep going back.
Best pizza in the b.x . I live by McDonald's on 204th and walk the extra 6 blocks to get my pizza here. Mind you I pass 2 pizza places before I get yo nickys. The pizza is the best and the wings are great. The slices are huge and the prices are right. During football Sundays the deals are the best I've ever seen.
This is a great pizza joint. They just opened in December 2012 under the old name. The pizza quality is up. The new owner is nice. They are very accommodating to how you enjoy your pizza whether you would like the dough crispy or not or anything else for that matter. The prices are reasonable.
Every time I come here I make sure to only order three slices to go. This place has a recipe for pizza that makes you dough hungry. If your in the neighborhood with a friend from out of town that wants NY style pizza Tommys is the place to stop off unless you want to ride around the city.
