Absolutely terrible service! Stay out!I've always ordered from happy wok. Same people have worked there for years but today I can assure you they really shouldn't. I never had a problem with their food. Today was their first mistake they made with me and the way the service handled it was terrible and uneducated!I ordered three dishes all lunch special:1. House special lo main2. Tso General chicken 3. Beef and broccoliThe guy on the phone (apparently a manager) asked what rice do I want, I said white rice. He asked "for both dishes" I replied with "yes white rice for general chicken and beef and broccoli". I picked up my food and go home, live about 15 minutes away. All the dishes have fried rice in them even my lo main. Like what?! First of all my sister does not eat pork, so the dish that was for her (general chicken) is now useless. My dish (house special lo main) was 3/4 fried rice (no meat really in it, just yellow rice) topped with 1/4 of lo main and meat/two shrimp just to show the customer when they pick up that it's right. So I called the place right away and spoke to a woman. She said that lunch special house lo main always comes with fried rice. Excuse me but I've been ordering there for so long and that never happened. She said that I shouldn't have said I want a lunch special but small or large portion. Ok? I thought lunch portion means smaller portion...so I looked at the prices online to see how much a Qt. house special lo main is and its $9.40 and pt. size is $5.00. I paid for my "lunch house special lo main" $7.95, which is mostly rice, not what I wanted. If I wanted house special fried rice I would've ordered that. So general chicken and lo main garbage. The lady said "hold on one second I'll listen to the recording" I said "ok please do." Waited for few minutes on the phone and then they hung up. Called again and now I'm speaking to the guy once more. He told me he's a manager, can't do anything for me unless I want to bring the food and they'll give me new one, no thank you don't want spits and God knows what in it, then started yelling at me and wouldn't let me speak. Here are few rude quotes from this so called "10 years trained manager" "What don't you get? You no speak English?" How rude! Especially that he's the one with poor English."All dish come with fried rice for lunch special" why do you ask white, brown or fried rice then? And make sure to let your customers know that lunch house special lo main is 3/4 yellow rice and 1/4 noodles. If one feels like noodles, don't feed them rice. Duh."So what you put a review up. No one read it either way. My boss no see it." Ohkie well I'll let the people who read reviews see it and be aware how crappy your customer service is. I finally hung up on the guy wishing him a nice day because he wouldn't let me talk and only offered to deliver the new food but I have to pay for the delivery. Previously the lady told me their driver isn't there today. Thank you for the lies and no I don't want food delivered for extra charge or even for free at that point because I know they would do some nasty stuff to it. The lady called me back after I hung up on the guy, apologized for making mistakes (at least someone's a little polite and somewhat trained in that place) and offered to have the food delivered. Again no thank you. The way the guy "trained manager" treated me was awful and I will never come back there again. I have better places to go to around like hunan cafe for example. Much better food and a whole lot better of a customer service. Bye happy wok it was nice 7 years I've been ordering from you but today you lost my whole respect��������
We love Hunan, its our favorite go to Chinese/Sushi restaurant in town. Christine, the hostess is absolutely lovely.
