Tonight I signed contracts on a used car from Direct Auto Mall and expected to take delivery on the vehicle. After signing, I sat in a waiting room for 30 minutes only to hear from the salesman that the service work had not been done on my car and it might take 5-7 business days to get it done. Sharing the waiting room with me was a mother and daughter, the daughter had been waiting 9 days for the car she had bought. The manager, Jim, came out and explained that the detail cleaning still hadn't been done on her car, but they would "let her have it anyway" and she'd have to come back for a service appointment to get the detail work (which they promised in her contract). What gives this dealer the right to take deposits ($2000 in my case) and sign contracts and then not deliver the vehicle until they feel like it?
Very fast and easy process. From when I walked in the door to when I left, I spent about 4 hours and drove away pleased that I got the best price for the best available car in New England. Will visit again, will buy again.
Great people, I have bought 5 cars there thought the years, I deal directly with the owner and he has always been fair and square with me.
