Chancey Road Christian Church

I visited Chancy Rd Church a few times. I liked the messages that the Pastor did and he seems very caring. I think that this church does the most for the commumity as far as the Homeless.
I dont know if I am going to make this my Home Church as of yet, there are a few things that I am concerned about,. Even though the message might be enjoyable, I noticed that the Pastor always seems to say such a long closing prayer. I got tired after a while waiting for it to come to a close which made my mind wonder, instead of listening. I also noticed that some of the people that go to that church are not very friendly. They acted like that was THEIR church and THEY run it. I didnt see as much Fellowship and Christian love as I would have liked to. As a matter of fact I saw some argueing.
I am sure I will find a church but I am tossed about this one. I will pray about it.

My husband and I prayed to find a good Bible based church. Chancey Road Christian Church is all of that.
Their motto is ""What would Jesus do?"" Pastor Tim gives a very enlightening serman. They serve communion every Sunday at the 8:00, 9:00 and 10:45 services. On wednesday evening at 6:00 they have supper followed by an awesome bible study.
We are snowbirds and we are now home for the summer.
We miss Chancey Road Christian Church and all the wonderful fellowship.

I was baptized in the church when all they had was a big plastic tub, before the then new sanctuary was constructed, about 16 years ago or so. Tom Schmidt was the minister at that time. So here I find myself back in town for awhile, or maybe for good if I can find work, and I'm interested in attending this church, tomorrow. I go online, and find the churches website. It's not very good by the way, but I'm not a critic. The problem I'm having is that nowhere on the website is the times for services. So I go ahead and call the churches number and low and behold, the church service times are not there either, so I guess that I should just show up whenever and hope for the best.
The things I remember is that Christ is number one, and the church was built on His foundation. Whatever has changed in the church, I can only hope that that is not one of them. All churches experience growing pains and ministers come and go. I pray that my experience tommorrow is one which causes me to be proud to say that Chancey Road was the place where I first came to believe.
Sincerely I Remain,
