Prime Care Foothills

I had a terrible bout of food poisoning and was reluctant to go anywhere besides the bathroom. After arriving at Prime Care, Naji-Talakar put me on a saline drip and gave me Zofran to deal with the nausea even though they were not too far from closing time. I was very satisfied with the treatment and would highly recommend them.

My 8 year old daughter had a hard fall in the driveway, my wife immediately put her in the car and started driving towards urgent care, I then called to make sure X-ray was open. A lady answered and was very nice and said they stop seeing patients at 6pm, I then told her my wife was in route with our daughter and should be there in 10-15 minutes. I forgot to ask the wait time and called back and another lady answered by the name of Monica I told her I just called and my wife is in route, Monica was VERY RUDE and said she better hurry were not taking patients soon. I explained to her I just called a minute before and spoke to a lady and explained what happened to my daughter and she said you were taking patients until 6?? She said again VERY RUDELY she better hurry then, I explained my wife was only less than 10 minutes away and would be there any minute with our daughter. Monica again very smugly had the same reply "she better hurry then" This was before 5;30 , sure enough my wife arrives a few minutes after that time and Monica refused to take my daughter and was again Rude and inconsiderate this was a child in need of medical attention and she refused her. Clearly she was ready to be done working and not concerned about patients well being. This was a half hour before they quit taking patients according to another employee we spoke with. I will never go back to foothills primecare and I will also tell anyone I can about Monica s very un professional , inconsiderate, and rude behavior .

I was in need of urgent care on a Monday morning before my regular family doctor's office opened. I went to this facility and not only was I seen within 10 minutes by a very knowledgelable doctor or PA, but had the best treatment ever. They seemed concerned and helpful. My issue was addressed and they made sure I knew what to do to take care of myself. The office was immaculate, I would highly recommend it.

I work for a local specialist. Our patient went to this facility in the evening after a surgery with "normal" post-op bleeding. Lets face it. To a non-medical person a saturated bandage can cause panic. The Doctor at Primecare did not even bother to call the surgeon. This patient was put into an ambulance and sent to the ER for what couldve been taken care of with some ice and a re-inforced dressing by the surgeon who wouldve happily seen her in his office only a block away. Thats a LOT of money and time spent by this patient just because this Primecare Doctor was not experienced or knowledgeble to either fix it or too lazy or proud to pick up the phone and call her surgeron. This is sad!
