Not speedy service at all! With the recent ice storm, we relied on our generator, which broke,and owner took a holiday off from 12/30 to 1/3. Should we have known about this, we seeked the repair somewhere else. We had to suffer passing a New Year without heat and power. Very disappointing experience, and we will never use their service again.

Provided by SuperpagesTo support local businesses I called Gilles Bro to see about a pick up of my 80 yr old mom's mower as I worked & barely time to mow. "$75" he said. Oookay. So much for local business charm. Told him I'd bring it in. Left work early next day, borrowed a truck, loaded it up, called to confirm they're open, reminded him about mom's mower, drove down, unloaded it, went into an EMPTY shop except owner on computer doing nothing. "Hi! I'm guy who just called &need mom's mower fixed quick, how are you?" "There's a $35 fee to leave the mower, $75/hour labor & it's a 3 week wait to get to it." Aaannnd you couldn't have told me this when I called? Oookay, mower back to mom's, returned truck, called a guy who works for Yukon schools explained situation he came & fixed it in 15 min. Ya know, Gilles had no one waiting & could've checked it out in 15 mins & help an old lady & a super busy son trying to do right but nope. Back to the computer. Alone. Nasty corporate attitude in small town shop. Blech

Provided by SuperpagesIwalked in door kid sitting on a riding mower seen I had my weedeater and said I get 75.00 an hr.on repairs wow I said I don't even make know were near that on my job I guess I cant afford that.....So I turned and walked out hadn't been back.It seems people I know are going elsewhere I wandered if the same owners still owned it or if they sold out maybe they go fishing a lot and are letting the kids run it now...
Gilles Bros has always provided excellent service at a fair price. I have used them for over 20 years.
