Roberto's Italian Ristorante

Perfect place for date night! Food is amazing! Service is great! The bread/oil dip is delicious! Very welcoming! I've been here many times and plan on returning over and over! Great prices on food and wine! This place makes you feel like your not even in Youngstown! You get lost in your own little world!

We went to Roberto's last night and I just loved it. The food was outstanding and I love the atmosphere. I normally would never order red sauce out but I decided to try it and I was pleasantly surprised, it tasted like homemade. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone.

My fiance' and I went for the first time for his birthday. I am not exaggerating when I say that this is THE BEST Italian food I have ever day, and that is saying a lot coming from an Italian girl! Service was king of akward, I think our waiter may have been new, but very polite and very quick. We both got a different wine which was serviced perfectly. Our food came in a very timely manner. I got eggplant parmesean, which was PHENOMENAL, and my fiance got the papperadelle with alfredo. Absolutely best red sauce I have ever had in a restaurant. Bread was amazing, and the oil that you dip the bread in is lethal (addicting). Decor was kind of weird and old school, but absolutely loved this place and would recommend to anyone!! Cannot wait to go again this weekend!

"The Best Italian around"

We were in from Columbus for the weekend and had heard good things about Roberto's. My wife, parents and I had dinner there Friday night. The experience was exceptional from the atmosphere to the food. The meal consisted of Greens, Hot Peppers and the Calamari for appetizers. Our dinners were Gnocchi/Meatballs, Spaghetti/Meatballs and Eggplant Parmesan/Cavatelli (my wife's favorite Italian dish). She said it tasted just like her late grandmothers. Dinner was topped off with desserts consisting of Triamusi, lemon gelato and a pistachio gelato. They were outstanding. The pasts are imported from Italy and Roberto's sauce is by far the best we've had. The service was superior and owners Roberto and John greeted patrons. We felt like we were in Little Italy. If you want the best of the best...........Roberto's is the place to go! Can't wait for our next trip to Y-town.

Was very disappointed in very slow service. Restaurant was under staffed with just 2 waiters and one being new. Took 1 hour for main course. Never received a refill on drinks. Took over 10 minutes to receive check and took 20 minutes to get check back as the hostess was busy socializing. 2 hours for dinner on a weekday nite is very disappointing and not for me. It is unfortunate as food was good and atmosphere is nice... But service will have me looking for Italian elsewhere

What an experience! Fabulous food, excellent service and a type of wonderful "old world" ambiance you will not find anywhere else in this area.

Roberto & staff work hard to make your meal a good one. Fun atmosphere + authentic Italian dishes do not disappoint. A real hit for downtown. Mangia!
