Dr. Carol Harracksingh, MD

I started going to Dr. Harracksingh's office about 8yrs ago or so. I never actually saw Dr. Harracksingh though because she has way too many patients to take on any new ones.

I originally began seeing Dr. Zhou, whom I loved. She unfortunately left the practice right after removing an enormous cyst from my fallopian tube. I was greatly disappointed but was sure I'd find someone else in the practice I could connect with.

I continued to see Doctors associated with Dr. H at her office. Never really "connecting" with any of them. Years later,

I began having pain and discomfort and actually had a reason to go see a doctor aside from having an annual. I made the appt., had a chat with Dr. Michele and scheduled a sonogram appt. As you know if you've been through anything like this before, it is a long and drawn out process so there are probably three week spans between all these doctor appt. and sonograms. I finally return to Dr. Harracksingh's office to hear the results of my sono, hoping to not hear of another cyst.

That day, I waited in the office waiting room for an hour. Then in the doctor's waiting room for another forty-five minutes, naked, cold and uncomfortable under a paper gown. I couldn't wait anymore. I had to be at work in less than fifteen minutes and had about a 20 minute drive. I put all my clothes back on and returned to the main waiting area. Not ONE nurse, or office assistant apologized for my waiting or explained what the delay was for. When I approached the receptionist with my dilemma, she simply said with a shrug of her shoulders, "the doctor should be here any minute".

Here I stand in front of this receptionist, after being in the office for over an hour and a half, not seeing ANY doctor while I'm there, waiting for my TEST RESULTS, and she's got no apology or empathy for what has just happened.

Needless to say I left and never went back.

TWO WEEKS LATER, a midwife, whom I've Never met, called my house and gave me my sonogram results OVER THE PHONE. It was the most unprofessional and unethical display I have ever witnessed in my life from a Very popular doctor's office.

This is a true story. I have no time to make up stories. I realize the story doesn't directly involve Dr. Harracksingh, but it is HER office and she is ultimately in charge of all that happens there. A good doctor she may be, she has no business owning her own practice imo. It is my pleasure to prevent any other women from going through the same horribly uncomfortable situation I went through with this office. That is why I wrote this.

By the way, my test results came back negative. Thank God. Still searching for a great doctor like Dr. Zhou.
