Lilla's Bridal Boutique

Working with this company was by far the worst wedding experience I had!!!
Background:
I bought my dress else wear and had them alter it, put a bustle in, and I ordered my veil through their company.
I will start the the worst things first:
1) when I picked up the dress a few days before my wedding the bustle was NO longer in. The day before the wedding my MOH (sister) noticed that the loops on my train were all cut into strings. We call and they insist the strings are actually loops. My sister takes the dress to them and misses the rehearsal to show them. She realizes the loops are actually strings so she put the bustle in the DAY BEFORE the wedding!!!! (Even though at the last fitting the bustle was in.)
2) that bustle fell out about 20 minutes into the rehearsal!!!!
3) even when the bustle was in my train was dragging on the floor about 2 inches.
4) I ordered the veil through them. I received the veil less than a week before the wedding and it was the WRONG veil!!!! I asked if I could get a discount on that veil because of the mix up and it wasn't what I wanted. They refused to take any responsibility and blamed everything on their supplier.
4) when I dropped the dress off to get it altered their was NOTHING wrong with the zipper. At the final fitting the zipper was still fine! After the pressed it and I picked it up, the zipper pull tab was SNAPPED in HALF! Again they denied any responsibility, even though the seamstress said there was nothing wrong with the zipper at the final fitting.
I believe the dress was seriously miss handled between the final fitting and the pick up. It's the only thing that makes sense to me of how the bustle "fell out" and the zipper snapping.
5) to "fix" the zipper they took heavy duty thread and basically tied the zipper pull tab back on. So the zipper was pretty much a giant ball of thread. They insured me that no one would be able to tell because I had ordered a finger tip veil.... Too bad the veil they forced me to buy was elbow length so you COULD see it!!! The ball of thread was so big that the buttons that covered the zipper could not be fastened.
6) I ordered the veil in the evening and they said that they wouldn't order it until the morning. That evening I saw the same veil at David's bridal for much cheaper. I called to cancel the order and they said even though they hadn't charged my card yet, they were going to in the morning whether I wanted the veil or not.
7) The ladies that work there are incredibly rude! I called to talk to the owner about my bustle issue. I was told she would call me back (over a week ago and I still haven't heard back from her and I called multiple times). The seamstress who worked on my dress did call me to tell me that my dress was "filthy and gross" and she never wanted to work on it in the first place. My dress was a Maggie Sottero that I bought at a sample dress store. It was perfectly clean!!!
8) everytime I went into the store I had to wait 5 to 10 minutes so they could find my paperwork... Even though I always had an appointment... VERY UNORGANIZED!!!

When I originally asked them to work on my dress I knew they were going to be expensive than almost every other place. I was Okay with that because I really wanted high quality work done. Instead I paid hundreds of dollars for a dress with no bustle, the wrong veil, for them to break my zipper, and to be insulted by them repeatedly. I would never EVER recommend this store to anyone for ANYTHING!

In total I have bought 5 gowns from Lilla's and know without a doubt in the world that when I go to get married Lilla's will be my first and only stop. From right when you walk through the doors you are treated like family and they remember you every time you come in. Amazing staff, beautiful dresses that are very reasonably priced compared to other local bridal shops, and an even better atmosphere. Lilla's Bridal is the place to go

I went to Lila's because the store carried a dress I saw in a magazine and wanted to try on. As it turned out, I liked the picture better than the dress. That did not stop them from trying to sell me any dress in the store. I wanted a cocktail length dress, but the employees kept handing me long dresses that I could "cut short." Luckily, my mom sews and was able to tell that the alterations suggested would look terrible. Even without sewing experience, I knew one dress couldn't be shortened that much without looking ridiculous. All the employees said was "Oh, don't you think it would look good?" I went elsewhere for my dress and was extremely happy with the service and dress.

I went to Lilla’s because I was part of a wedding and the bride ordered our dresses from Lilla’s. I had never been there and didn’t really know what to expect. Turned out to be great! The staff was very nice and helpful. Our alterations were perfect and not that expensive. It is a nice family run business; we were in on a Saturday and met all three generations, really sweet.

I ordered my bridesmaid dress from Lilla s for my friend s wedding in York; I am from the DC area though. The night before the wedding, I had some severe gown malfunctions, and Lilla was my savior on Saturday morning! She was able to fix my gown and make all alterations needed with only 15 minutes notice that I was en route after getting my hair & makeup done. She did an amazing job...it was quick & affordable, and she steamed the gown for me too! I don t know what I would ve worn to the wedding that day if Lilla wasn t able to take care of me! Great alterations, so accommodating, so affordable (only $45 the day of in a panic!), and friendly staff that made me feel at ease in my frantic state!

I love this place i been to many bridal shop and always seem to end up going back here. The thing that i like the best is im on the thcker side and they still have many gowns to choose from, and if you see a dress and its not in your size they will try the hardest to get it. I often find dresses on the more (fuller) ball gown and i want a streight line. i have bought 2 dresses here which one was ordered in my size and they always have such amazing workers.....

Lilla's Bridal Boutique is a wonderful place to find prom dresses and wedding dresses. I have purchased all three of my prom dresses, and just recently my wedding dress from Lilla. After looking around at other dress shops I always seem to end up at Lilla's to find the perfect dress. The staff and customer service are excellent.
