As a small hole in the wall ny pizza joint, Gigi's is one of the best! They all ways have a few special pies ready to reheat, not my fav way of eating, but order a fresh pie, well you are in for a real treat. Great gravy ( for non ny'ers.....gravy is the sauce ) nice fresh tasting cheese, and oven masters who understand how important trimming is. We all so enjoy the veal,let it be a dinner or a wedge, the veal is top notch all the time. The pasta is , like the pizza, cooked to the right time, trimming is everything. even if your not in North Yonkers, it's worth the trip, even at today's gass prices. One bad note, parking is really bad, a way to small lot, with close to no street parking.
I have been going here since at least 2004. They know my face so well. There has been times I would go up to twice a week! My favorites are the Penne Vodka, Baked Ziti and Chicken Parm. Their service is great and the prices fairly resonable! Most of the staff, I mean all of them have been there for over 10 years. Which just makes you get that feeling of a happy staff and a family enviornment! My favorite is their tomato sauce. You really must must try it.
