Superior Water Conditioning

Deplorable customer service. We had the system installed almost 4 years ago. Filters were changed yearly with them, and all was fine. This year my husband wanted to change himself, so asked if we can purchase filters from them. I arrived to buy the filters to find that one of the main ones was not available. No problem. He said to come in next week, as it should arrive by then. From then on, almost a DOZEN messages for close to 3 weeks with his secretary and employees, asking to please check if filters have arrived. They would take the message, say no problem, and never get back to us. We wound up replacing with several different types of filters, but despite changing them water was still horrible. So we wound up getting it tested, and looks like the system itself was no longer functioning. We left MORE messages, and emailed, saying please to come look at your filtration, as it's been a month of no clean water. And NOTHING! I have never dealt with anything close to this. $4000, two referalls, and he doesn't have the decency to call a customer back.

I've recently moved into a home where the prior owners had Superior Water install their RO and Water Softener systems. So I've reached out to Rich (owner) and Barbara (secretary?) of this company for a walk through orientation and service of their system. After 4 phone calls, promises to get a call back with a scheduled appointment, and 2 no-shows on scheduled appointments, I've decided this company is not worth my time.

I've voiced my concerns to my neighbors in town (we live in Wyckoff) and it appears that many people have had, at best, shoddy service with this company.

Poor follow up, inability to keep appointments, and general unreliability lead me to give this company a 1 star review.

As an aside, the company does not take calls from phone numbers that have caller ID blocked. I'm not sure what this has to do with their business model, but if you have caller ID blocked on your phone, you'll need to un-block it so your call will go through.

After months of searching for the perfect filter and softener system I found Superior water conditioning in wyckoff. That same week Rich came out to take a look. They did a great job on the install that same week and we no longer suffer from all the hard water! Thanks again for the great service
