        A family member has recently been admitted to the facility and has been placed in a 4 bed male unit for dementia patients. Overall, he has been taken care of very well. The roommates look unclean and often do not shower and I realize legally they do not have too. However, when living with others weekly hygiene should be mandated. I literally put vick in my nose in order to tolerate the odor. The room smells of urine and the floors are never clean. The menroom that he shares is very unsanitary. Some of their bed linens are dirty. Such a sad situation to see....
