Very popular local spot that does a bustling business. The wait staff is very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Our waitress, Casey (sp.?), along with busboy/waiter Gage took good care of us. Their policy is B.Y.O.B., so we came with a bottle our preferred red. The dining room’s noise level was loud, but that didn't interfere with our conversation. Very good, home-style Italian food, at very reasonable prices. Especially good are their meatballs, sausage (homemade?) and pizza. The red sauce is also very good and fresh, as are the cannoli (crispy, not soggy shells; filling is delectable). Parking not a problem. We'll be back for more as I'd like to try the veal.

This was the best place we ate in on our trip from Buffalo. The service was excellent, the staff frienfly and the food was excellent. I got a fra diavalo that was spicy but not too hot mixture of seafood in a tomato broth over pasta. My wife got the lobster mac & cheese which came with some pieces of meat in the maccaroni and a whole lobster on top. She loved it. Our daughter got the putanesca which she had never tried and she loved it. The owner-chef came by to chat which I think was a nice touch and we learned that it's mostly a family operation, nice to see in this day. If we ever get back that way I know the first place on my list for dinner.
On Shrewsbury St there are a lot of expensive restaurants and trendy restaurants.. this one surpasses them all in atmosphere and quality. Everytime I have eaten there I have been very pleasantly surprised at the special touches they add to their dishes and to the freshness of their homemade sauces and ingredients. This is a smaller family owned place, and I am just as comfortable arriving for a romantic dinner in a dress as I am for a cocktail at the bar in jeans. (The bar is separated from the dining room which helps their customers to choose their ambiance). If you haven't been there yet, you are missing something!
On Saturday night, October 17, our party of four had a great night out at Chioda's. The hostess who greeted us was very friendly and made us feel extremely welcomed. We were immediately seated and our waitress was pleasant and informative. The atmosphere was casual and friendly and we felt very comfortable. Our drinks and food were delivered in a timely fashion and was awesome. With great food and a friendly staff, we can't wait to go back!
We (myself, my wife Lorraine and daughter Kerry) visited the Worcester area Olive Garden, and we were all impressed with the friendly and rapid service. The quality of the food was top notch, the servings just the right size, and HOT, served in warmed plates. The prices were very competitive. It was an altogether pleasant experience. I would recommend this restaurant to a friend, and we will certainly revisit.
The food was well prepared and plentiful and my 2 companions and I enjoyed the meal, however we were the only ones in the restaurant on a quiet Wednesday afternoon but our simple meals took over 1/2 an hour to come to the table. Our waitperson never asked if we wanted bread at the table and she was slow to return to take our drink refills. All in all I enjoyed my visit and would return
I went on a Friday night with reservations and was seated fairly quickly. the food was delicious and priced at what I'd expect for a nice restaurant. The place was lamed with a long line of people waiting to dine. the noise level made it difficult to converse with the others in my party. I'll have to try a weekday to see if it's a more relaxing atmosphere.
Had dinner there again for my birthday, we had a party of six. The food was excellent, there was a peach and mango sangria that was very good also. We we there on a friday night and it was easy to get a table. We have been there several times. I tried Via and Nuovo and wasn't impressed. I will stick with my 'little italian restaurant.
Hands down my favorite restaurant in Worcester. Food is very good, but the atmosphere is what puts this place over the top for me. Where else can you hear a live piano player while sitting on the outside and have the owner come over and ask you if everything is ok AND he is actually from Italy. Real deal here kids!!!!!!!!!!!
Specialty here is Tuscan grill style cooking; stick with their steaks, veal chops and other such items and you won't go wrong. Pasta dishes were a little.too cheesy for me. Service is excellent as is desserts and wine selection. Not as pricey as one would expect for a high-end Italian restaraunt.
