The staff is always helpful and friendly! Place is so clean and kept up it's great. Bought my husband the basic membership and he enjoys it and the benefits. Have bought several people gift certificates and they all have enjoyed thier experience and have come back again

It was our first time visiting the range so my husband and I weren't sure what to expect. It was clean, professional and everyone was so friendly and knowledgable. Louie was our instructor, he was awesome! Since it was our first time, we were a little intimidated but Louie set us up and guided us every step of the way until we felt comfortable on our own. We had an awesome experience and can't wait to go back.

There is simply no other range like this. Anthony and his staff are the most friendly down to earth people you will ever meet. They simply do not tolerate any unsafe activity and all go out of their way to make sure everyone is having a great time. They rent pistols and rifles and sell various products you might need while at a range. If you have a problem just step back and let one of the RSO's know, they come over and will do what ever they can to assist you.



It is hot inside during the winter and cold inside during the summer. During the winter they have it so warm a t-shirt is fine and during the summer you will not sweat one drop.



The place is inviting, brand new, clean and one you will be happy to bring your wife or daughter to.

From the moment I met Anthony and his Gun for Hire team I became a part of the Gun for Hire family! When they say this to you, they are not kidding! The classes are top of the line, informative and they never make anyone feel uncomfortable. The range is absolutely the most beautiful building I've ever seen! They have "spared no expense!" I would recommend the Gun For Hire range to anyone who is looking for a fun, comfortable and enjoyable time with good surroundings and company!

This range is top notch! It's a spacious and immaculate facility with large ports. Not an expense was spared when this place was built. I can't say enough great things about the staff and instructors. I am still relatively new to guns and have a lot to learn. The instructors have gone above and beyond to help me out without making me feel stupid. (A special shout out to Jimmy for always answering my dumb questions without laughing!) Women are encouraged to visit and we are treated as equals. It's also nice to see all of the families and children who visit. The café is a nice touch with good food and great coffee! Definitely check this place out!

Having visited a number of ranges in the area, THIS is BY FAR the most complete and pleasant facility I've seen. Anthony Collandro has created a world class Shooting Range with all the amenities. He has a very pleasant and knowledgeable staff to take care of your every need. Police Depts will be using it for their special training. There are 25 and 50 yard ranges with a total of 19 ports. In addition to having full shooting facilities they offer full NRA Training Classes as well as other specific courses for other needs. They have a full compliment of Ammo and an extensive firearms rental service. In addition to class rooms and a Podcast Radio studio. The range can accommodate up to and including .50cal.At the "Riflecamp Cafe" They offer delicious food for those waiting to shoot. All In all, everything you need to enjoy a visit to the Woodland Park Range! Memberships are still available. I love the place and I'm sure you will too!!!

I have been to many ranges, but this one takes the cake. Clean, well thought out layout, Instructors are knowledgeable, nice and willing to answer any question. I highly recommend the range for beginners as well as. seasoned shooters. You wouldn't be disappointed.

I have only become a firearm inthuiast in the last year and took my safety class with Jimmy @ Gunforhire, which highly I recommend to anyone interested in purchasing a firearm. Safety, common sense, and legal responsibilities are paramount when it comes to the safe use, maintenance, storage and transport of firearms.



The Gunforhire Woodland Park is the best range/training facility I have ever been to.



The central location, 25 or 50 yard ranges and hours are unequalled by anything in the area. The facilities are spacious and clean, and well-maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful, and enforce the range's safety rules without being intrusive.



The selection of rentals is good either for a recreational shooting, or for those who are shopping and want to try different models before making a later purchase.



Woodland Park always has stocks of ammunition in the calibers I've needed. The prices are typical for range ammunition, but it is convenient not to have to dip into my own stocks during market shortages.



The lighting, ventilation and storage in the range area are excellent. It is easy to set a (flat not rolled) target at any distance and there are no shadows obscuring your gear on the bench. The target hangers are the best I've used; they are stable and durable cardboard, with binder clips for target attachment. The hanger is attached to a strong steel rail, and it moves quickly and reliably with the push of a button on the key pad



I am accustomed to lower prices for range time, but Woodland Park makes up for it in the quality of its facilities, its location, its hours of operation.



What I really love is the friendly family atmosphere and the fact that I can eat or snack because I am not able to stop on the way to or home from the range due to NJ restrictive gun laws.

I've been to a bunch of ranges. This is the best I've seen. Designed by someone who knows how a range should be ergonomically designed. Anthony took the flaws of other ranges and made those strength of this range. I'll definitely be frequenting guns for hire. The cafe is great. People there are great. Wide ports, AC, free wifi, # cubbies to put your things in behind the ports, electronic target rollers..... Love this place

Gun for Hire is the most trusted name in firearms instruction in the tri-state area. I have taken two classes there and I have to say that their facility is absolutely top notch. Anthony will go out of his way to treat you like family and his range staff and instructors really know their stuff. It's no surprise since these guys are veterans in the business, many of the instructions and range staff having spent years in law enforcement and armed security. The rifle camp cafe is also excellent, with good food in decent sized portions. Sometimes I go there just for the food!!! GFH is worth a look if you're in the area.
