In addition, it offers cut-by-cut delivery directly to sewing and finishing plants throughout the world. Founded in the early 1980s in Los Angeles, Talon has grown into a truly global company with facilities from Hong Kong to New York to Mexico. Its subsidiaries include Talon, the world s original zipper company which was founded in 1893, and TekFit, the company s newest division, which produces elastic waistbands. Talon International maintains a location in Woodland Hills, Calif.
