    I've stayed here a few times.

    I've stayed here a few times. It is very crowded obviously in its prime seasons (i.e. winter break, spring break, Easter, summer). I loved my room at the glacier canyon. The waterparks are a lot of fun. Unfortunately, for my last trip, I booked the trip in October 2010 for the days between January 2-4, 2011. I was not informed that one of the waterparks would be closed during some of those days.... read more I did not get a discount, nor did I get an email saying that they would be renovating the waterpark. I feel like I was ripped off. I spent a lot of money at this place, and the least they could have done would be to inform its customers of a closing so they could reschedule their trip. It is a great family place, but I think there should be adult hours for adults only to enjoy the waterparks after 9pm.

    this is probably the overall best waterpark in the dells. it has everything you'd want. the only thing i didn't enjoy was that it's just to big and to crowded. felt like i was at disneyworld in primetime.

    REALLY FUN

    THIS WAS OUR SECOND YEAR GOING AND THIS PLACE IS GREAT THE WATERPARK AND WAVE POOL ARE GREAT AND SO MUCH FUN. THIS RESORT IS CLOSE TO EVERYTHING BUT IT IS BETTER TO EAT IN DOWNTOWN WISC DELLS THIS PLACE IS FUN FOR ALL AGES.

    this is the best hotel-waterpark in the dells it has grown to be hugh. always has room rate specials. food is good and many waterpark options.

    Wet and Dry Fun for Everyone

    We try to make it up here at least once a year. It's a great place to go for an extended weekend or for a mini vacarion during the week. The kids love coming to the waterparks. We usually stay with a group of families in a condo or cabin. They seem to open up new waterparks every year too. I think they are up to 5 indoor and outdoor waterparks. The waterparks... read more offer enough variety that all ages can enjoy them. Plus, they have a dry play area with an arcade and climbing area for the kids. The waterparks and dry park are only open to resort guests which makes it less crowded than some other waterparks in the area.

    Vacation close to home

    Friends and I rented a 4-bedroom condo for the weekend and had a blast! There are 2 waterparks, each with body slides, tube slides and a feature ride (the Hurricane and the Cannonbowl). Important to note: Wilderness does not sell passes to the waterparks, so only resort guests are allowed to use them. Also available: an arcade, laser tag, pottery making, wagon rides and other seasonal activities. A shuttle will take you anywhere... read more you need to go on the resort grounds.The condo was fully equipped with kitchen utensils, a dishwasher, icemaker, DVD and video, extra towels and pillows. I would recommend bringing extra blankets, however, no one was cold as we had temperature control. There were also 2 fireplaces in the 4 bedroom condo.It can be pricey compared to other cabin/condo rentals in the Dells, but having the waterparks right there offers a lot of fun.A llot of families vacation here, so expect many children.

    Awesome place, especially in off season!

    We stayed here this past May during the week. Of course, there were very few hotel guests, which made using the water parks a great time for our family. We have three young children, and the two oldest really enjoyed the water park. The indoor wave pool is one of a kind. Both water areas have things to do for people of all ages. The heated indoor/outdoor pools were really nice for this... read more time of year. There are lifeguards at all times. Food is available at both places. There is a HUGE three story indoor play place for kids and adults to have fun in. The hotel rooms were very rustic looking. Definitely kept the theme from the hotel going. The rooms were your run of the mill hotel room, but very clean. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here. The off-season rates are very affordable.
