        Steer clear of this place worse than the Bates Motel I have never experienced when they make the beds they use shopping carts Hee Haw hell

        I was not a guest, but I briefly accepted a maintenance position there with an efficiency unit to be provided in lew of pay. Now I've visited and lived in numerous motels, both for business and pleasure. I withdrew my offer after spending a few hours "enjoying" my new digs. Believe me when I say that I am not picky and have done my share of hard living, but this place is a dump. I wish I could post the video I took of my accommodations as the conditions were deplorable. The ac unit was sized wrong for the hole in the wall, having been "re-engineered" with pipe insulation crammed in the gap and sealed with expanded foam. After 4 hrs of constant operation, the room was still 85degrees. The window was broken and could not be closed or secured. Parts of the room were unfinished with bare drywall and poorly installed appliances. The walls, floor, and door were filthy and the door had marks of forced entry. The wifi that's advertised on the sign was the slowest I have ever encountered, unable to even complete a simple speed test or even check mail- forget streaming of any kind. The cable wasn't much better with poor picture quality and coax strung about. The room had burned and ungrounded outlets. The stove and oven were invented, and oddly placed. It smelled odd. I dared not even lay on the stained bed. The place looked like somewhere that a criminal would hide from justice. There were dead roaches lying about. I REALLY wish I could substantiate my claims by posting video, as it was shockingly out of code. It is my belief that the owner is running a "company store" type of operation and preying on the desperation of her staff.
