They may not be the most pleasant people in the restaurant business , but if you've ever worked in one you'll know why they are that way, customers are hateful, ungrateful , disrespective , and think there're the only people on the world, to get respect you must also give some!

Exellent Subs and Sandwiches

Great place to get subs and sandwiches in Winston Salem. The staff is friendly and they get your food ready quickly - even at lunch. That said, lunch is a really busy time to visit the Hero House. We tend to go after the lunch crowd has left.

too much attitude
This restaraunt has awesome food but the service needs major attention. These people act as if you owe them something and that you are bothering them by ordering. Again love the food but the customer service stinks!!!!

You are right, this is where the locals eat. It doesn't matter the location, they are all great. If you are looking for a hot sub or sandwich this is the place to stop. My wife and I love the chicken suvlaki (okay that's misspelled!). They also have excellent cheese sticks (and several people I know love their onion rings). There isn't a lot to say about it, just stop in try something it'll be good.
