Oakview Apartments

This was the apartment my husband and I chose to move into as first time renters. Big mistake! I dont know where to start. Rats, roaches, spiders, and snakes are in these apartments. Take a look at my picture. I even had a snake in my apartment and the emergency maintenance did nothing, it took two guys who where remodeling another apartment to take the snake out the next day! I have that on video. Everything falls apart because the material is cheap. We had a random water leak under my sink that destroyed all my tissues and other valuable items that I was storeing under the sink, I have the on video as well. There are always people knocking on my door pretending to be from bge. I tried to break out of my lease because there were too many bug infestation and I was told that I would have to pay 3 or 4 months worth of rent to break the lease. They took a snake out of my apartment and expected me to give them free money. The only thing that was good about living there was my neighbors at that time was trustworthy. We all made sure no one stole anyone's packages. The maintaince guys was friendly. Keep in mind the terrible traffic jam that's on Lord Baltimore. When I was moving I had to throw away my 65 inch tv stand because it was infested with roaches and I didn't want to take roaches with me. Everything was getting so bad that I stopped calling maintenance and just focused on finishing my lease. All they do is talk a good game and run specials to get to locked into a nightmare. Not once did I get a call from Maryland management or oakview to check on my family or to see if there was anything they could do. Keep in mind that if u see a lot of good reviews, that probably because the same week we moved in was the same week the sent an email about us writing a review for them. I didn't do it because that wouldn't be fair to base my review off of 1 week. My sister stepped on glass that went threw her shoes and cut her deep just by getting out of her car when she came by.
