A Gentle Touch Before & After School Transportation

We moved our daughter to A Gentle Touch last year, when she was in fourth grade. She had been in a daycare center that did not have the proper set-up for school age children. Ms. Andrea at A Gentle Touch only has school age children. It is a great environment for your elementary school child. Ms. Andrea goes above and beyond for "her" kids. She teaches them respect and working together. My daughter graduated from elementary school this year and we will miss the safety and security we had knowing that Ms. Andrea was caring for her.

I remember searching for a before and after care program for my son, and could not find one, but when I met ms andria her character was welcoming,caring, and inviting. My son learned a lot she would make sure is home work was completed, and also made sure he had something to eat. They would go on field trips, like skating, bowling, and to the zoo. On days when school was close early I didn't of to worry about how my son would get home, because she would make sure he gets home. Ms Andria was like a mom to us. I would recommend a gentle touch before and after care.

Ms Andrea is a home childcare and I was somewhat sceptical about putting my child in a home childcare. I always thought that centers were better. But I realize that thats not always the case. She has only school age children and all her activities are for older children. My daughter looks forward to going everyday and likes that she has friends that go to the same school. I like that Ms Andrea helps them with homework because at the end of my day, it is good that all I have to do is check it and do some reading. I know Ms Andrea worked in the schools for a while and she can help with math issues that I have forgotten. She takes them on field trips when schools are closed. These are trips I may not have time to do because of my schedule. I really appreciate her no-nonsense style. She is firm but she lets the children know they are important.

A Gentle Touch has made a big difference for me and my boys. My work schedule is all of the place and getting my boys back and forward to school on time was a big problem. My mom is not here to help me and then aI met Ms Andrea. I have confidence that my boys are going to get to school and be picked up from school on time. I have peace of mind during emgency school closing because I know she is going to pick them up. On my late days, I know my boys are fed and their homework is done. She teaches the children the value of working together and being friends. She gives them assignments to do that they can earn money that they save. At Christmas time they can go shopping with their own money. That make them feel good. I recommend anyone who want their child in a school age enviornment.
