SpringHill Suites Hartford Airport/Windsor Locks

I usually don't leave reviews b/c I either forget or don't care enough, but I just had to leave one for this hotel. I stayed there for 2 days wtih my bf who is in the military stationed in the area. We had a blast! At first he was concerned b/c I picked out the hotel by myself but he was very pleased w/ my choice.



Ok here is a list of the PROS:

1. The hotel provided shuttle from the airport which was EXTREMELY convenient.

2. The staff are friendly, the lady serving the complimentary breakfast was ON IT! So friendly and welcoming

3. The complimentary breakfast actually had HOT breakfast....and I must say it was delish! (I am an extremely picky eater)

4. The furniture in this place is SUPER cute. Yea I think a woman definitely helped design this place, so warm and friendly, but not too overpowering b/c my manly bf did not mind it at all. He actually commented that I did good picking it out on my own.

5. Has all the amenities you need- iron, microwave, etc etc.

6. Good restaurants w/in short driving distance. Well we don't really mind driving much so I may just not have noticed, but as long as I have a great place to rest my head I don't mind driving 30 mins for some good eats!

7. So clean! I could eat off the floor seems like.

8. Such pazzazz. The decor is awesome!



Ok, here are the CONS:

1. Small pool. I think it only went to like 3 or 4 ft. But if u r not going swimming not a big deal, at least its indoors.

2. There are two sinks in the room but one is extremely small and splashing water on the floor is inevitable. But the other larger sink by the shower makes up for it with spacious room and well lit mirror. A minor inconvenience if you ask me.





And that is pretty much it. We have been loyal to Candlewood Suites for a while, but Springhill has them beat just a little bit in my opinion. Will definitely go back once I visit my bf again. Loved loved loved it!
