Nursing staff
I recently went to the office of Dr. Robert Duck. His receptionist was nice. As I entered the treatment area I met a nurse who I felt was rude and unprofessional. I opted not to become a patient of Dr. Duck.

UNFAIR & UNJUST
I went to Dr. Duck's office on 05-29-08 for a first time visit to choose a new general family doctor and was seen by his associate Dr. Gapol for about 10 minutes.
I informed her that I was there to get a referral to a Specialist for my legs.
I informed her that I was at the Emergency Room on 05-25 08 with leg a injury and I needed a referral from my primary care doctor to see the Specialist I was referred to by the Emergency Room.
She asked what medications they gave me at the Emergency Room and I told her.
She then just started stating over and over and over that they do not percribe NARCOTICS at their office even after I stated that I understand the first time.
The word Narcotics never came up acceipt by her and she told me that if all I want is narcotics then she can give me the names of dotors down the street that will give me all I want.
She never heard me out about any of my conditions and never gave me the referral to the Specialist.
I received a phone call the next day from a receptionist who informed me that Dr. Gapol received my medical records from my previous doctor they that they can not acceipt me as a new patient after they reviewed my medical records.
I called my previous doctor and they did not send them my records the next day.
I have heard great things about Dr. Duck which is why I wanted to switch to him but his associate Dr. Gapol has some really serious issues with narcotics and does not even hear you out to even make a fair and just assumption of a person and their needs.
She is the kind of so called doctor that makes people shy away from medical attention no mater how bad they need it.
