Took my seriously injured dog in on an emergency visit. I had called on my way and they knew I was coming ($25. extra for an emergency). There was a whole team ready to receive him, and they got him out of the car and in to be examined in no time. He was in examination quite a long time and when the assistants would come out I would inquire about him. When the vet herself came out, I knew it was bad news. They weren't able to save him, and on my way out, I was given a bill for just under $500.
At no time was I given any information on what they did to attempt to save him. I was just handed a bill identifying the costs of various drugs and services. Unfortunately, I can't find any information on one of the drugs.
I am certain it would be a great hospital for minor surgeries, castrations, inoculations, etc., however, I don't think I would use it again for any life-saving situations. Frankly, I don't think they are prepared for it.
