Discount House

Discount House is the best! Brent and his staff helped us save alot of money on our LVP flooring. They have a huge selection and follow through on the sale to the end. Brent also recommended an excellent installer. It was by far the best experience we've had all year!

My experience with Discount House has been exemplary. They were able to match my existing hardwood floor at a price that was $1,000 less than competitor. Ordered and got in a very timely manner and have been wonderful to work with. I would recommend Brent without hesitation!

Terrible. In one word that sums up the experience. We have several rental properties, and had used them in the past, but this last every bit of the transaction was terrible. The salesperson was rude from the beginning, and that is when we should have just left. We proceeded to give detailed instructions because we had our GC picking up the order. When it came to that day, the salesperson wouldn't release the carpet to our GC and refused to call my husband to verify he was the correct person to pick up the order; basically just gave our GC (who is the nicest, non-confrontational man) such a hard time, and he just left. GO TO LOWES!!! Their prices were actually less, and we were sick we didn't shop around more before trusting this terrible business.

I recently moved into an older house in the Wrightsville Beach area that needed new flooring. I shopped around in the area and had a few people tell me to give Discount House a try. I went to the warehouse and was surprised to find that they had a nice selection of flooring that was decently priced so I decided to move forward with them. I was quoted a price that included the cost of materials and the installation. When the installer came to my house he quoted me a completely different price that was almost 1000 dollars more than the original quote. We were able to come to an agreement that seemed fair and we moved forward with the installation. The installer that Discount House sent out was incredibly rude and unprofessional. He did not come with the needed supplies to complete the entire project and even tried to say it was my fault for not relaying the info to him to begin with- even though I had clearly spelled out exactly what I wanted when I purchased the flooring from the Discount House rep. The installer made a huge mess in our house and ruined newly installed carpeting and freshly painted walls and refused to fix the issues. Not only that- he also did an incredibly sloppy job with the flooring installation and I am already having issues with the flooring and transitional pieces. I reached out to the owner of discount house multiple times hoping he could help correct all of the issues and he did very little to help and said that the issues were between me and the installer (who was an employee of Discount House.) I would highly discourage anyone from using this company for flooring or any other services for that matter. Overall I have been very unhappy with our results and with the lack of respect from the owner and installer. The customer service was appalling and our floors look awful. Do not waste your time and money with Discount House.
