Game Day Must-Dos »
Some sports fans like to rock up to a bar and cheer on their team. Others live for the traditions: tailgating, party-hosting, and dressing head-to-toe in fan apparel. Here are so…
Use YP's sizzling summer checklist to pack in as many backyard barbecues, family trips, and memorable outings as you can before the kids head back to school.
Eaten here about 5 times now over last year, food has always been consistently good. Even the grilled Salmon sandwich which is easy to screw up. Had it twice, first time really good, second time not as good but still very tasty. Crab balls are fantastic and Sausage Cheddar soup was nice and thick. Venue wise probably one of the nicest big sports type bars in the ILM. TV's everywhere and easily visable from all spots. Upstairs is a nice change in pace with a classier lounge perfect for a group walking in wanting to have their own space. Tiki bar outside with fun games. Service is good very polite and accomodating. Overall the only draw back is lack of a crowd which may be due to past businesses stigmatized the building. Definitely worth a try especially for a grour looking for a spot to hang out eat good bar food and watch sports.
I just found my new local hang out to eat and watch my favorite sports!! I had their filly steak sub. I was scared to order it because it has cream cheese in it, but my server talked me into it. I am glad I tried it, because the warm cream cheese and creamy horseradish was a nice touch. They have a whole selection of personal flatbreads too. My friend had the Garbage pizza. It was packed with veggies and meats. It wa perfectly crisp due to its crust being pita bread. The atmosphere inside definitely surprises you! There is no sign of a diner anywhere. It is full of unique wood tables and a couple dozen TVs. The tap selection is impressive also. I can't wait for football. This place is definitely worth revisiting!!
The wine list is outstanding with 4 long pages of wine by the glass (or bottle) and another menu of bottle-only choices. We went in twice in 2 days and had 5 different wines. All were really excellent. I really don't think it was because we lucked into always hitting what we like. I believe they just don't stock mediocre wines. The menu is meat heavy so, vegetarians shouldn't expect to have dinner here. There are some nice choices for nibbles on the appetizer list making it a good place to start or finish the evening. And if you eat meat, you could happily stay all night. The waitstaff are knowledgeable and friendly. The decor is charming. If we lived in Wilmington, they would know our names.
