Any food chain especially known for breakfast that has the ""original pancake house"" in the title is worth a try. This place is not bad. I enjoy the omelets and the crepes...really good!
Famous for more than just good pancakes (buttermilk, apple, blueberry, german, swedish). They also have fluffy oven-baked omelets, & a variety of heart healthy compliments. Fresh-squeezed juices & more. Line out the door but extremely fast.

I've been going here since I was a little girl. Over 15 years! They haven't changed their menu. Always good old fashioned breakfast food. You have to try the German Apple pancakes. There's usually a bit of a wait on the weekends but the turnover is quick. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a no frills classic breakfast place that's steps above diner food.

Try to sneak in here anytime other than a weekend if you want the most amazing, bigger-than-your-head dutch pancakes (the puffy, volcano-like kind) you've ever had. You're already blowing the diet, so go ahead and get the apple -- you won't regret it. Only problem is this place is so popular that you just can't avoid an hour wait on the weekends (even when I got there once at 7:30am!).

This is one of those classic places you have to try at least once. The portions are huge and sinfully delicious. The place is always crowded. And the Dutch Baby pancakes are fantastic.

You cannot beat this pancake house - no cheap food like diners/IHOP - they cook your food fresh and from scratch. AMAZING. I've eaten there no less than 25 times, and every time the food is incredible. Recommended orders: German Pancake (Dutch Baby is the miniature version), Apple Pancake, 49ers/flapjacks, chocolate crepes. Kid-friendly. Be forewarned - it's so popular that it's usually quite busy, especially on weekends.

There's a place that makes a dutch baby pancake! I thought that anytime I wanted one I'd have to go to my mother's house. The apple pancake is also great, enough for probably 3 people. And don't forget the bacon-laden waffles... Genius! Service is average, but that's about the only average thing about this place.

This is our favorite place for breakfast. We had enjoyed breakfast there on countless occasions throughout many years. We've move to California and have yet to find a place that even comes close to the Eggs Benedict, or the Santa Fe omlette, or the crepes (which one to pick???) But the hands down winner is the apple pancake that absolutely no one has come close to replicating. Even though we have seen countless celebrities at breakfast, the breakfast in tinsel town doesn't come close.

This place has great panckes! I love to come here, and my daughter just loves the food (she always want to come here)! It can be expensive, so I do not come often, but they do have a kids and senior Grand Treat (pancakes and eggs or sausage)which is inexpensive.

The food was ""OK"" but I was not inpressed. People talk about this place like it is wonderful but I did not get that at all. It was just a Breakfast place..... nothing great. The price for 3 people was $40.00 because they charge for each item. I thought that was crazy for breakfast. Go to wishbone it tastes better and 1/2 the price.

The best pancakes by far. Much better than that other place, ""International House of Something"".

I've been eating at WBs since i was a kid. Best food in town, weekends are always the busiest but worth the wait in line.

food is good but go on an off time or be prepared to wait an uncomfortably long time standing up

The apple pancake is great beyond that there isn't much foodwise. The hash is dangerous and the omelettes while looking extremely good are boiled in shortening you could wring out a pint of it.

I have been going to Walker Brothers for YEARS!! The food is fabulous, and they have the best crepe's in the city! I would HIGHLY reccomend the blueberry pancakes which have fresh blueberries in the batter, and blueberries to drizzle over the top. The crepes are also fabulous and full of fruit!! The hashbrowns are always crisped to perfection and they have onions throughout which are wonderful and the coffee is STRONG!! Which is just the way I like it!!

Ok, the pancakes are ok, but most of the time, it's come cold or at best slightly warm. This place - and we have been to many of their locations - always has terrible service and so/so food.

Incredible food, coffee, atmosphere, service... Everytime I go I always wait in a long line that is definitely worth the wait for the coffee alone... let alone the awesome breakfast...

While I found Walker Brothers to be quite tasty with traditional breakfast items and a few delictables that are hard to find in other breakfast type restaurants I also think that their prices are a bit high. It is a place to go if you are looking for a nice brunch area to take high profile clients but not a place most average famlies with children could go on a regular basis.
