The workers and manager are very rude ever time we go in there. They act like your not even in the restaurant, watching tv and standing around.I bring in a handicapped man to eat,his choice. When asked for a bag to put his leftover wings in to take home. They said they don't have any, with a bad attitude. Then said I had the attitude.Every time I am in there they are very unfriendly. Then the manager tried to say it was my fault to my friend ,to cover his lazy and actions.

I normally don't complain about food or restaurants. Ever. But last night I went to the absolute WORST restaurant in all of Western NY. In fact, I lived just a mile or so away from this place when I lived in Buffalo. Pizza Plant Italian Pub - HORRIBLE! Read on and learn about how they serve ANTS in their takeout boxes!
Let me explain. First off, after being seated and waiting 10 minutes, we finally met our waitress. We ordered Southern Tier Rye 2X (excellent beer) and placed our food order for calzones (which they insist are not calzones, but "pods"). After another 10 minutes with no beverages, I got up and looked around for our waitress. She was super busy tending the "take out" station (obviously too busy to also wait on tables - not her fault, but management's fault). I go to the bar and mention our beers and the bar tender says "oh, here they are" pointing to two beers at the end of the bar that I noticed 10 minutes earlier had been placed there just across from our Tall Tables (directly across from the bar).
After sitting back down with our beer, I mentioned to my wife that the older man behind the bar with the two female bar tenders was acting like he owned the place. And sure enough, it was Bob Syracuse, the owner. He had heard and seen our situation, but didn't care. In fact, while waiting for our beers (with them sitting just 10 feet away at the end of the bar for 10 minutes) I made eye contact with him several times. He gave me a condescending glance, and then looked away.
Well, after a few more minutes my wife's French Onion Soup arrives along with my Caesar Salad. My salad was wilted, and after eating a few bites I noticed several pieces of the Romaine lettuce was actually rotten - not just wilted. (I have pics which I posted on Facebook.) So I stopped eating it.
Then out come our calzones (i.e., "pods" as they are insistently called). The outside was nice and hot and the crust crispy. However, as soon as I took a bite I realized the inside was lukewarm, almost cold. The flavor was somewhat good (though in Rochester, a Salvatore's Old Fashioned Pizzeria calzone is much better - size-wise and taste-wise, as are the many other calzones I have purchased elsewhere in Buffalo and Rochester). My wife's calzone is the same, lukewarm on the inside, though hot and crispy on the outside.
The waitress comes over and we explain. She says she'll tell the manager, but we say "don't worry about it, we're just not going to return" and ask for a box to take the calzones back home to heat them properly. Another employee comes over with the takeout boxes for our calzones, and lo-and-behold in my wife's box something is moving. There is a RED ANT in the box! (I have pics which I posted on Facebook.) We were astounded!
The Assistant General Manager comes over and we explain the entire night to him. He tried to make good on this, and the meal was on the house. (The meal we did NOT eat.) Now this manager and our waitress were not to blame, as they tried (but were spread too thin - and obviously over-worked). HOWEVER the fact that the owner was there just 10 feet away from us, and he knew what was happening, and yet just gave us a stare of condescension is still amazing me. Mainly because he OWNS the place.
So Internet friends, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE SUBJECT YOURSELF TO ROTTEN, LUKEWARM, INFERIOR FOOD FROM Pizza Plant Italian Pub. Especially when the owner Bob Syracuse really does not care at all. No wonder local people to Buffalo do not go there, as many of my colleagues (when I worked in Buffalo) would not go there, and they would make remarks about it not being so good. Yet, I gave the place the benefit of the doubt, until now. It is absolutely HORRIBLE!
I would have just written to the company the next morning (today) and complained, that is until I learned that the owner was right there, 10 feet from us - the old man giving us dirty looks from behind the bar. So instead, I took it to the Internet.

Raw fish! I told my waitress the fish was raw and she said, "I'm sorry its not warm. Would you like me to heat it up for you?"
She totally missed it. She didn't offer a new piece. And how do you make a fish fry good by heating it in a microwave? I lost my taste for it and kindly said no thankyou.
Nothing off the bill, just two cookies with another apology that the fish was cold. Never an offer to substitute it with something else.
