We had been looking into going here for a few months now, and finally made the trip last night. It wasn't horrible to find if you know what you're looking for (the old ball field). Service was ok. Waitress seemed to throw everything when she brought it to you. Not sure if she knew that she was doing it or it was her intention, but plates, silverware and straws were placed down on table with a small amount of force. Menu is small. It's exactly as the name says...pizza. You can get pizza, wings, Stromboli, bottled soda, chips and fountain soda. Pizza was very good. We got pepperoni, so it was super greasy, but they definitely don't spare the pepperoni. Bottom side of pizza probably could've had more beef to it, as it was paper thin under all those toppings, but still very tasty. Parmesan cheese, etc was on the table which was a plus compared to a lot of pizza places. Neighborhood is a bit rough. Kid on a bike riding in the street almost hit our car when he wiped out. Parking is on street, and it didn't appear there was much of it. Overall it was good though...we'll go back.
While walking around downtown Williamsport we got caught in a pouring rain. As the whole clan was hungry we made a beeline for the first pizza shop we saw - Long Island Pizza. The choice was random but we were glad we ended up here. We walked in and were warmly greeted by the owner as he never missed a beat in his effort to construct a large pie. The prices were reasonable and the fresh mozzarella curds contributed to our delicious pizza. There is even a small lounge in the front of the shop where you can flop on comfortable couches and watch TV. 95% of pizza shops are cookie cutter copies of every other place. Not this place. Highly recommended in spite of the owner's Long Island accent !! :p
joes pizza is the BEST in town. Everytime I go there im greeted with a smile, and I always get the best service. Ive been going to Joes now for 15 Years, its my kids and my favorite places to eat. I think the service is SUPER and i have never had a problem with thier food. Response to the bulletin above me. I have never waited over and hour for my food even ion the busiest of nights, maybe yelling at the counter girl didnt help you much did it? Average wiat for a pizza and subs are about 20 to 30 mins for pickup. Average wait for delivary is 45 to an hour, Ms. i think you need to stop being so selfish! GOO JOOOOOEEESSS PIZZZAAA
