Usually when I walk into a consignment shop, I'm not even acknowledged, but Tara and Renee make you feel comfortable right when you walk in. It feels like you're walking into a home. I've found many of my Christmas gifts here already, and have referred many of my friends to the shop. One of my girlfriends just had a ton of damage to her home from hurricane Irene, and found many replacement items at The Vintage Rabbit. I recommend everyone go and check this place out and bring YOUR friends!
The atmosphere is worth the trip. We went for breakfast and it was not expensive. The square (nearly flat) biscuits are sometimes called "Railroad Biscuits" and the salty ham makes the Williamsburg experience seem genuine. We will go back, and it was fun to look around the gift shop after eating. They don't really have many antiques for sale which the outdoor sign says, but what they did have seemed reasonably priced. The cat mascot was on duty!
Fantastic Bargains on clothing Worth a regular trip in order to discover new items that offer serious markdowns. The shop is beautiful and the staff is helpful. Its worth taking the time to browse the merchandise as I tend to find scores with every visit. It is also pleasing to contribute to a small business that gives back to the community through donations and cash for folks who consign their clothes.
