Animal Care Clinic

We are new comers to Wiggins and had three dogs at the time of our arrival in Feb. of this year.

Two of them had on going health issues and we already knew that one of them had congestive heart failure so understandably we were concerned about the level of care we would be able to find here.

I had resolved to continue giving my chihuahua his heart meds for as long as he continued to have some quality of life. Dr.Martin was very supportive of my decision and did not pressure me either way. My beloved pet and friend of 16 years lived until May 5. Sadly we said our goodbyes and Dr.Martin and his staff were very kind, even sending a card with their condolences which was very much appreciated and so touching.

One of our other dogs at one time had kidney stones and now has to eat special food that is very expensive. In our efforts to be as economical as possible, Dr. Martin did some research and came up with an alternative for us that is a bit more cost effective but still meets the needs of our pet.
