In November, my family needed a 3 month lease between homes. Initially, Newport appeared to be the best option, even if it was the most expensive. We were extremely disappointed with all aspects of the apartment, from appearance to customer service. First, the apartment they promised, on the ground floor, suddenly became unavailable at move in time. We were then put on the second floor, with no apology or attempt to rectify the situation. Second, the apartment looked nothing like the model, with most of the flooring needing replacement and extremely poor insulation in the second bedroom. Third, the first week we were in the apartment, we had to call for service 2 times for items that should have been fixed prior to occupancy. Four, the parking is extremely limited, with no assigned spots and the remotes for the "security gates" were not worth the extra cost, which is not returned until you move out. We returned the remotes after the fourth one did not work properly. I am glad that my house is ready, as I would be looking elsewhere when the lease ended. Overall, the quality of service did not come close to the price charged.
