I have been back to the New Market Square Bella Luna four times now and I have yet to try something I did not like. The atmosphere is beautiful, although it can be pretty noisy. You will definitely miss out if you don't start with the hummus, I hear the hummus schwarma is great too, but have yet to try it. They have a large selection of appetizers, a few soups, salads, sandwiches, and a wide variety of steaks and pastas. They also have a wide selection of wine.
The best sandwich is definitely the chicken schwarma. I have tried the fattoush salad and chicken salad (actual chicken salad on a bed of lettuce) and was pleased with both. I also recommend the falafel as a vegetarian dish. Other recommendations are the cream of mushroom soup, chicken salad sandwich, and for a side either the French fries or pasta salad. Cole slaw is also an option, but since I am not a fan to begin with, I can't recommend it. The food is also great warmed up a day or two later as a leftover lunch or dinner.
Most of the time, you wait to be seated, but when it isn't crowded at all, you may be told to seat yourself as that usually means they don't have many waitresses on the floor. Only once have I been there and had to wait more than 15 minutes for a table and that was on a Friday night so that was understandable.
The worst service was a Sunday afternoon, it wasn't crowded, but our service was still pretty slow. Very friendly service overall. The Friday night we went, they had a full staff, but it was plain to see that the waitresses were all quick on their feet trying to keep all their tables satisfied. Our waitress didn't let our waters get less than half full the entire time. Little detail, but pretty impressive.
