I have trained both cardio and weightlifting in the following establishments, GNC,NYSC (3 locations) also several gyms in the UK. Without a doubt this is the best by far, if you are looking for personal training or tough group class sessions. Except for the days with classes running there is rarly more than 5-10 people in the facility at a time , meaning there is a huge amount of personal space to work out in , and enough varied equipment to not stagnate a workout. One on One sessions are what you make them, you will be pushed, and made to do alot of things that you think you are uncapable of doing, but you will find that with each session you get stronger and fitter, and achieve things you never thought you could do. TRX classes are tremedously tough, proberbly one of the hardest hour session of fitness that you can do, and its never the same , each week its different. Again you get out what you put in, if you put in the least amount of effort you can only be pushed or yelled at so much. I lost 50 lbs in the first 8 months of training, put on 10 over holiday period and am now back on my game to loose another 25-30lbs. I went from collapsing in a heap after a 500 meter row, to being able to run 10k's, and will be competeing in first half marathon in march. Training is hard and Sage make you work to your limits, they encourage you with the right diet and tell you what you should be eating or shouldnt be eating, informing you constantly that diet remains 70% plus of weight loss, and to achieve real goals training and diet must go hand in hand. in terms of the first poster babbling on about bmi and measurements, im quite sure if you asked for it , it wouldve been done, but with me personally getting on the scale was daunting enough. Without the help of Sage and Jordan my trainer I would be creeping into 300lbs now, and still wheezing walking up the stairs, however now im glad to say that even though i still have weight to loose im proberbly the most fit person in my 60 person office.

This is in response to the previous reviewer who clearly has no clue that it takes hard work on ones part to succeed in what you set out to do. March 22, 2010, I walked into Sage Fitness for a complimentary 30 minute session and left on the verge of vomiting with the hope of losing 5lbs over the course of my 10 sessions. In the beginning, I wasn't sure whether or not I would continue or take what I would learn and go on my own as done numerous times before in other gyms without any results. Once I started to see immediate changes I was having I continued on with Sage. Fast forward to the present; Total of 35lbs lost, 11% less body fat, completed a 5K, 10K and 5K Obstacle race. The trainers genuinely care about everyone of their clients and they push you to your limits in only 30 minutes. The bar is continually being raised so you are always progressing. So yes, if you want to socialize and converse during your 30 minute session and not work hard then please do go elsewhere and don't waste their time. If you are serious about what you set out to do then Sage is the place to be!!!!!!
Sage is a one of a kind facility that provides absolute top of the line training. My friends got me to come here after trying a TRX class and we haven't looked back. All-star trainers each providing something very special. The workouts are extremely difficult and trying but the trainers motivate you all the way through it. I'm suprised to see the first review as i've only heard good things about this place otherwise. Try it out, it's worth it!
